BEIRUT Family Class Applications sent to Mississauga then BEIRUT 2012

My husband has a second interview after 5 months from the first one why would this be ? I submitted that I was having surgery soon a letter from a doctor a few weeks ago.
I dunno I'm freaking out has anyone gone through this

In the letter all it says is

Please be advised that in order to proceed with Mr. application, an interview will be held on August 20, at 11h A.M

Trust the above will be of assistance to respond to your constituent.

It could be that they are just giving him the visa at this interview given the fact that you have a surgery and you need help. Inshallah that is the case and I hope everything goes well for you.

In order to complete the assessment of Mr. application, a visa officer requires that you attend an interview.
The interview will be held on Tuesday August 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Embassy of Canada in Beirut, Lebanon.

This letter must be presented at the reception on the day of the interview.
Please confirm your attendance and the language in which you will communicate during the interview by e-mail to berut.im-permanentresidence@international.gc.ca within 5 days of receipt of this invitation letter.

Please note that if you fail to appear for interview as scheduled, the examination of your application will be completed based on the material available in your application. This could result in the refusal of your application.

The following documents are outstanding on your file. Although there is no guarantee that a visa will be issued following your interview, we request that you submit the following documents to expedite the processing of your file. Please note that the Right of Permanent Residence Fee is refundable if a visa is not issued.

Please bring an updated Lebanese police certificate and your original passport to the interview.

Hi Marwah.
I think they will likely give your husband the visa at the interview. If you remember, Lello's husband got his visa the day of the interview (and an apology for the long wait) after almost two years of waiting. I hope this is the case for you. Any idea why it's taking so long? Did your husband live outside of lebanon for any long period of time or was/is he in the military or security forces?

stay possitive as i agree with red123, he could get the visa at that time, i wish so, helding more than one interview is possiple i know someone who attend three interviews so it could happen.

I received the sponsorship approval on the 20th of August, My application will be processed in CPP-Ottawa.
On the 22nd of August new lines were added on the e-case: Decision made under "sponsorship application status" and Medical received under "PR application status.
I filed the undertaking application for the province of Quebec on the 20th of August.

Hi Guys,

My sponsorship application was started in Ottawa, but now it was returned to Beirut embassy and they asked to renew my police certificate and i have submitted a new one, and after that i sent an email about the status, and they told me that they are waiting the security check results.

Does anyone know how much time will take to get the result for the security check.

that's good it seems like they might be wanting to finalize your application before you are due for a second medical as in October it will be a year for you. Lets hope that's the case because they do say that applications sent to ottawa do get transferred to Beirut in the last stage. Lets see what other members with more experience say.

I'm so sad wallah he had maybe a 20 min interview and the officer said he has one week max to make his decision but.........
On Friday they requested a Michigan state police record :'( :'( :'( :'(

So now we r getting that which is probably another 2 weeks if not more
I can't believe this :'(
