I'm following the Amman page.. it seems every week one or two people get their PPR. I wonder what's going on with Beirut?!!

We got an email this morning from the ambassy about the application, it has reached the final stage of processing!! My husband is going to give his passport to go pick up his visa in lebanon!!!

We are both so happy hamdillah!! ;D ;D

What is the first email you should receive after you send your application? Is it only an acknowledgement letter? or is it gonna be sponsorship approved? When are you supposed to receive your letter? I sent my application 2 weeks ago, Canada post tracking said it was delivered on 31st of July, but I haven't received anything yet.

The first email you receive is either stage 1 AOR from mississauga or a sponsorship approval email.
Based on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp it should take 28 days for SA.
I received an AOR after approx. 14 days, and the sponsorship approval on the following day.

What does AOR stands for? what is it exactly?

Email goes on to say I need to apply for CSQ as well since I am in Quebec, as well as some other unimportant details.

My husband has a second interview after 5 months from the first one why would this be ? I submitted that I was having surgery soon a letter from a doctor a few weeks ago.
I dunno I'm freaking out has anyone gone through this

In the letter all it says is

Please be advised that in order to proceed with Mr. application, an interview will be held on August, at 11h A.M
