BEIRUT Family Class Applications sent to Mississauga then BEIRUT 2012

Hi,

According to this page on CIC, It seems there is a quota for every country regarding the permanent residence applications. I'm surprised to know that a quota can be imposed on the family reunification category.
Here is the link where Beirut visa office has 300 application for 2012. Really weird.

hello everybody

for those who submitted their requested documents and new medical , i think we are going to wait 2 months after our medicals done then when the embassy in beirut recieve it so they can contact us for final decision.

Hello Kellysou,

no what I know that the medical processing time in Damascus was 3 month, in Beirut just 1 month.
you can see that from what happend with Tati00 she waited after medical just 40 days exactly,
also the count start since paris received your medical not from the embassy recieved it.

but I have been created myself for a waiting period of three month ;D because I know how much I am lucky ;D

I know how frusterating it is, we are in the same boat.
but hope is the only thing we have.
I was going to Lebanon, but I postponed until my wife gets her visa.
It is better not to worry about what we can't control!
Patience is key to get us through this ordeal.

I need urgent guidance from Family Immigration Experts.
I am sponsoring my new born daughter born recently but after visa approval from CHC. My wife application was approved a week before my daughter birth.

My questions are?????

What forms i need to submit in Canada?
How much fee I have to pay for an infant?
Can I sign all applications on her behalf because she is infant?
How long it will take to get approval from CPC-Mississauag?

Please I need urgent help because my wife's visa is expiring early next year and as per email response from CHC we need to file sponsorship as soon as possible before expiration of her visa. They have asked to send stamped visa passport back till approval of her sponsorship from canada.

i want to share some good news with you since we are all suffering! today my husband received an email from the embassy asking him to submit his passport finally!!! yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy.

he re-did the medical on Oct 11th and submitted the additional documents on October 16th so i guess it took 3 weeks which is good news for everyone. Here is the email:


Dear Applicant,Your application has reached the final stage of processing. So that your permanent resident visa(s) can be issued, you must now submit the documents listed below. 1. Your passport and a passport for each accompanying family member. The passports must meet the Passport Specifications as noted below.2. Two recent photographs of yourself and two recent photographs of each of your accompanying family members. The photos must meet the Photo Specifications noted below.Submit your passport(s), photos and information chart within 30 days of the date of this email.

Please bring your passport and the completed form, as well as the photographs if required to our office in Beirut. For applicant residing in Beirut, please submit your passport and the completed form on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. To pickup the passport Please return to the Canadian Embassy on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 in the same week that you have submitted your passport.

but can you pleas give us a copy of the rest of that email, what they mean by Specifications? what they want exactly?
