Quick question: what's the processing time after applicants submit documents to CIC? I'm asking for a friend who waited for almost a year, she hasn't got Medical yet. She wonders if her case is normal. Thanks for any advice.

You can check here, it depends on if it is inland/outland application and what visa office that is processing her application:

if I am not wrong this page shows the processing times for outland applications, do you know if there is a similar page that shows the expecting processing times for application filled from inland?

Inland applications will fall under the Ottawa office, current processing time after AOR is 17 months according to that link.

Hi everyone
Please update your information regularly related to your BC PNP application. if anyone is not in the this chart who applied BC PNP from APRIL to OCT. 2014. Please let me know your timeline so i could add you in the list to figure out how they processing BC PNP application nows a days. hopefully they are reviewing at least 20-25 files everyday.

Acknowledgement of receipt August 12,2014
My receipt email said 5-6 months at that time.

Work permit will expire Jan14 so I'll extend my WP very soon and I'll work under implied status..

So if my number is 48** and also people who are in the same situation, for us will be in January- February?
Alternatives just in case would not be nominated to BCPNP?

from my understanding, not all applicants are guaranteed to have 600 points if they wish to use their nomination towards the new EE platform.

and this is on PNP's web:

"The BC PNP reserves the right to prioritize applications for occupations that are in high demand or that contribute significant economic benefits to British Columbia.

Applications eligible for one of the PNP's Express Entry British Columbia categories will receive priority processing of both PNP applications, and if nominated, permanent residence applications."

that is crazy and completely unfair at the same time.
If you apply and the AOR says that the processing time is 5/6 months is completely unfair that they change the processing times in this way.
The truth is that in this way nobody takes any responsibility for his actions.

Exactly, it's ridiculous!! So, what should I do? Speak with my company and apply for LMIA or study IELTS in order to apply for the Express Entry. BC= Bring cash and be patience..

I hate to spend more money on IELTS tho.

its good though just take ilets u need 6 or more bands in each.. and processing time is 6 month or less when u nominated once..
which catogery u applied under? what is the noc code?
