i never went anywhere, so i just submitted an NBI clearance. If you need to get one from the NBI, try getting it online, it is muchhhhh easier and quicker. just google NBI online. If you have lived outside the Phils, I believe you need to get clearance from every country you stayed for more than 6 months. The instructions are all in the website given above. Good luck!

thank you...have to do it fast, just got my docs yesterday....goodluck :)

These are exactly our same question. Ive also sent an email to our VO but they haven't replied yet.

Has anyone here submitted documents for OWP? We would appreciate any info you could give.

hi all,

now the deadline has increased till 2014

British Columbia

Open work permits are available to spouses, common law partners and working-age dependants (18–22) of most TFWs employed in British Columbia.

For more information, refer to the News Release—Pilot project to attract more working families to British Columbia.

Application deadline: February 14, 2014

Guys, i went the embassy and talked with someone there, they advised me to apply for 2 work permit one for me and the other for my wife .. on the other hand 2 study permits for my KIDs (6 and 9) years ...

KIDs up to 4 years should apply for TRV not study permit ..

so im gonna pay fees of 2X work permits and 2X study permits

I hope they advised the right answer , let us see after i drop my file next week :)

Ok that is nice to know . Did they said what documents do they need to prove we are already nominated?

Hi Guys,

i dropped off my Work Permit files yesterday at the Canadian Embassy. anyone here did the same ?

also those who sent their Application to CIO , did anyone get a reply on his/her e-mail with file number ?

Regards,
Mike

Hi Guys

I applied to CIC on 19th January. How many of us applied in January from FSW Backlog Project. Can someone maintain the log sheet for us? Should we start logging or is there already one in the forum?
