I do hope they would consider our being part of the backlog reduction program. i sent our application today. i hope everything is in order.

We are still weighing if we are going for the OWP. Pls. share to use their answer to your query, should you receive reply from them.

As you have already applied to CIC. Could you please tell whether you have submitted the cover letter to the visa officer. If yes, could you please share the format. If anyone else who has already applied can share will be helpful.

I didn't make any cover letter, I didn't find anything in the checklist that requires me to do so. On top of all the documents is the checklist from the CIC site.

If I may also share my funny experience. After checking my docs for completion a hundred times, Ive submitted my docs yesterday at DHL. When I returned at my desk to start filling up forms for OWP, Ive referred to the forms I just submitted and found out that my husband failed to complete the Personal History item in the Schedule A form. He only listed his history until year 2005 when it should be the last 10 years. Ive called up DHL to hold the shipment because i need to insert another page. I hope I filled up the other forms completely. Oh well, if it's meant to be, it's going to happen.

If you see the instruvtions received with the LOA it gives you the list of documents and the order of putting your documents. it requires a cover letter but optional. so it is not must but we can add. Any ways thanks.

1. Does the passport copies, Birth certificate has to be a "Certified true copies"?

Hi Mike, i understand that you have already submitted your application. Need a piece of advise about the "proof of funds", do we need to get a certificate from the bank stating the amount/figure available or we just have to fill-up the form IMM008-4e Schedule 4 ECONOMIC Class Provincial Nominees?

Hello everyone,

i didn't apply for OWP yet , but diffidently i will apply soon, to cut it short i will send Canadian embassy e-mail to ask about my wife and kids and if they already will be included or i have to apply for them for a different visa like student for Kids for example... i believe we all need to do so and share their replies to conclude next step.....

on the other hand,

Who sent her/his file to CIC ? any idea when they are going to reply ? are they going to speed up our files because of we are in a pilot project and waiting since 2006

;D I have received my nomination package today dated 29 Nov 2012 consist of Nomination Letter, OWP letter, green stickers and FRC card.

Guys, kindly share your opinion if the OWP is only applied for principal applicant or spouse can also apply for it. thanks........

Good for you guys, am from d phils too, bt until now haven't received any nomination package from BC...they received our application last June 12, 2012...emailed them for follow up bt their reply is vague...7 yrs of waiting is quite unfair...

Don't lose your hope, be positive. your nomination is now in the pipeline and it will come to you at the right time.

Hi, the bank certificate is already submitted before to BC before and nothing in the check list they mentioned to follow telling us to send it again with the documents so you just need to fill the IMM008-4e Schedule 4 ECONOMIC Class Provincial Nominees ...

i just submitted photocopies of these certificates similar to what we submitted when we were invited to apply to BC.

Hello there, since you submitted your docs, can i ask if you submitted also police clearance of the places you live since reach 18 yrs old until now? tnx...

i never went anywhere, so i just submitted an NBI clearance. If you need to get one from the NBI, try getting it online, it is muchhhhh easier and quicker. just google NBI online. If you have lived outside the Phils, I believe you need to get clearance from every country you stayed for more than 6 months. The instructions are all in the website given above. Good luck!
