So here's another update on the matter:

Application received: Nov 14th (according to tracking info provided by Canada Post)
File number received: Feb 4th
Approval received: Feb 25th

Hey zsy54531, I do not know what happens if you apply after Nov 15th with old forms. It is likely to cause delay or perhaps a refusal (if as per the new rules you are found ineligible). This is what their website says: "Old PNP forms and checklists will be accepted until November 15, 2013. After this date, applications with old forms and checklists will not be accepted and will be returned to applicants."

I just got a file number an hour back ... Applied on Dec 9 ... Now i think couple of weeks more for approval

I would be applying for PR under Provincial nominee program. Just need to know do we need to provide educational documents to CIC as in the checklist it is not mentioned.

Application recived by PNP office on 16 dec 2013. Today i got my file number after 2 months and 18 days. Now fingers crossed for the final result. ;D
