Applied on 5th Nov ', and received AOR and my file number on 2 nd January.
It takes almost 2 months to get acknowledgement reciept and file number.

Dear Forum Leader,

I am Shahid from Pakistan and am planning for Canadian Immigration through BC PNP.

I have few questions / queries for which I need some guidance.

I am currently working as Human Resources Manager with around 12 years of professional experience. I have done Master in Public Administration from University of Karachi.

I will be appearing in IELTS general on 1st Feb, 2014.

My brother and sister are both Canadian National are currently living in USA. They used to lived in Toronto.

1) I currently have no sponsor but one of my friend lives in Alberta but now moved to Alberta can he sponsor or I need a sponsor someone else?
2) I have enough funds to settle in BC, will it will be helpful?
3) I have strong professional experience in my area of expertise and would like to use my skills and experience in BC as permanent resident, will it be helpful?
4) Can my sister or brother still sponsor me?

Looking forward for help/ guidance so that I can further proceed with my application with complete / comprehensive details.

Hey ... thanks for providing your information ... I have some questions to ask you before i can answer all of these ...

Which stream you want to apply?
Have your brother or sister ever lived in BC?
Do you have any permanent job offer from BC employer?

If you are applying for BC PNP under skilled category you don't need any sponser. As i can understand from your work experience you only fall under skilled category but for that you need a permanent job offer from any BC employer.

Hello guys, I've became a bit unpatient recently :-[
I submitted my BC PNP on Nov 26th under International post graduate program. Till today it has been almost 8 weeks (Jan 21th), I still didn't receive a confirmation email from it. Judging from others' timeline it is about the time now.
Should I wait a bit longer or should I call them? Please advice.

help does anybody know what happens when your work permit extension is denied before pnp has been approved.papers all went in nov.30/2013
i now as of jan.22 2014 have no status. is it to late to apply for restitution of such/or as visitor.
