VFS helpline says that the processing time of 33 working days and my application is being processed since 26 days. So some relief is there....

Where did you got this information? By call?

My friend visited the vfs today and they told that they cant say anything about the time. (32 days already passrd for him)

Yes i called vfs. And they told me about this.

Sagar and Nikhita, its high time that you guys should hear from VFS. In records, cases till 7th July are almost decided over.
if 5th-tues was your submission then, 10th Aug-Wed completes exact 5weeks, however, you may add 2 days more if your application was out of bangalore. Stay positive and its time you shall hear from them.

on CIC web site they have mentioned that five weeks are required for processing file in India for study permit. Today exactly five weeks are completed since I have submitted my application. Let's see what happens.

I have submitted my file on 12 july from Ahmadabad still no status change observed and one of my friend applied on 14 july recieved his visa on 4th August.
???

2) 1 week more for SPP/General applicants? Paper-based included?

3)Ive not linked my application online, only just using vfs global to check the status. where do we get the medical update?


I applied on 12th July Bangalore, SPP paper-based application.

I applied on 12th July Bangalore, SPP paper-based application.

they told me that your application is being processed at banglore and now any time they will dispatch passport to me.
its ok if you have not linked your application online.
