As Bangladeshi we need the TRV to be able to enter Canada (since we are not a visa exempt country). the study permit is a permission to study in Canada and everyone will need it, such as americans.

You do not need to apply for the TRV separately. When yr study permit application is approved (Insha Allah) a TRV will be given to u as well.
So how many applications do I make? I just apply for Study Permit and they will include the TRV if the study permit is approved? Or do I still need to fill up the forms for both and submit both together?

As I already said you do not need to apply for the TRV separately. It's only what is mentioned in the applicaiton checklist. U only have to submit the Study permit application (plus family history).

If u r still in doubt, it is best to clarify it with VFS.

Do you guys know anything about education loans from Bangladeshi banks? Let's say that a bank wishes to pay for me in the form of an educational loan, is that acceptable?

Know which banks offer such loans?

Do you guys know about any good student visa agency in Dhaka? I'll really benefit from some agency that is experienced in sending students to Canada from Bangladesh.

Just an advice:

Avoid IOM clinic for medical exmas. I submitted my repeat CT-scan report on 17 FEb 2015 to IOM and only today they called me to say why i haven't submitted my Ct scan report yet, they are getting emails from Delhi RMO for it. I was extremely shocked. And now they don't even know where my reports have been kept.

Hello Everyone,

My wife got offer letter in Professional Accounting Practice which is Ontario College Graduate Certificate program from Seneca College for this Fall 2015. Basically, she finish her BBA in May, 2014 from North South University. I have already started working on collecting the documents for student visa but I am confused about certain things:

1. My father-in-law will pay for her expenses and tuition. She will be need a sponsorship letter (if somebody can send me sample sponsorship letter in my email: monju760@gmail.com, that will be appreciated). But, I am confused regarding what kind of documents does she has to show for financial supports. My father-in-law is willing to show bank statement. But I do not know from the bank what kind of documents need to show because I am really bad in this section. :(

2. Regarding property: how should I show the property values? Like do I have to show the property documents (give them the original documents) or is there some other way I am not aware of?

3. What are the documents that my father-in-law will have to give her like: Trade License and what else? (He is a businessman).

4. Can anyone please send me a sample Study Plan at monju760@gmail.com

NB: Any documents sent in my email, I will use those only sample purpose ***Promise***

Would gladly appreciate some replies. Thanks :)

Ask the Bank for Solvency Certificate and bank statement of past 6 months. It is best to show the Trade licence of yr father-in-law (to clarify source of funds/income). And make sure you provide a affidavit of financial support and not simply a sponsorship letter.

Cannot say much on property. Sorry

Study plan is easy to write. She will of course have to write it.
First para: what program, which college she got admission to, class start date.
Second para: a little about her educational background and relevant work experience. Then explain why she got admission into that program. how it in line with her previous education and how it will help her.
Third para: Say why she chose the college. (do not simply say low fees or easy to get into). HOW the degree and particularly one from this college will help her international job market. (not CANADA).
Fourth: conclusion looking forward to living in the city her college is in...her english skills will help her adapt well, etc......
NEVER SAY in the Study Plan THAT "WANT TO STAY BACK IN CANADA".

Hope this helps
Good Luck

Thanks newcandidate for your reply. By any chance do you have a sample of sponsorship letter or i will find it from stamp vendor guys. one more thing for financial support, is that bank statement is OK or my father-in-law has to show FDR's. Caz i saw in post few are talking about FDR's.

Much Appreciated.

I am not sure but i believe u will find a sample of Affidavit of Financial support with them. It is their job at the end of the day to prepare such docs. U will need to take yr details, bank account details, property, passport no. of yr wife's and father-in-law.

By bank statement I meant all: current account, saving account, FDRs, etc. Remember the more you can show the better.

And show property of yr father-in-law as well since it will act as ties to homeland for your wife. Just provide photocopies of all documents that show and confirm ownership of the land. have the photocopied documents stamped/certified by notary public.

Good Luck

I have the same question. Can Bangladeshi applicants show FDRs instead of bank statements? Also, what if instead of a statement from a bank, I show my money invested with a building society?
