Hi i posted my application for amendment of study permit on 13 May 2015 but haven't yet got a notification on whether they have received my application? Is it normal?

Hi I recently entered Canada and obtained my study permit for full-time study at a Designated learning institute. My course doesn't begin until fall 2015. Can i start working from May 2015? or do i have to wait until my course begins? my study permit doesn't mention anything abt working. thanks

Yes request for passport means approval. You will receive the POE letter once they receive your passport and finalise yr approval. i don't think yr Schegen visa will be a problem. I also got a Singapore visa after submitting my paper application and before submitting my passport. Good Luck

Sorry, my VAC checklist mentioned statement of purpose. if your doesn't require u to, i believe there is no need for it then. Good luck

Follow the document checklist by heart and write a good statement of purpose/study plan. And never say in the statement/plan that u wish to remain back in Canada; instead focus on how the degree will help u in yr country. Good luck

the 30 days mentioned didn't refer to the processing time. it was only the deadline by which you needed to submit the document to keep yr file active.

Refusal after medical is rare. But if they have asked for yr passport after medical then it is almost confirmed (Insha Allah) that you will get visa. Good luck

Generally, If it a study permit application, yr approval letter should state: Type: Permit- SP / Permis PE I am not from India so do not know how the SPP works. But you may want to contact the concerned Canada high comission abt it when u receive yr passport. Good luck :-)

Yes they have reviewd the file and seems everything else is ok. I got the same request in OCt 2014 and then one/two days later got request for my medical. My application was eventually approved. Good luck

As far as i know if u r in Canada u will have to apply to CIC Los Angeles for a study permit. Just make sure u get the study permit while u still have a valid TRV to remain in Canada. Good luck

I read somewhere that u can. U will have to send yr application to CIC Los Angeles. Check their website u will get all details. Just make sure u get yr study permit whle u still have a valid visitor visa to remain in Canada. Good luck
