Hi everyone, I need some help and will appreciate your suggestion.

I had applied under the new rule (post June 26, 2010) and received an email notifying a positive final eligibility and that I should inform my VO of any changes. I have joined a new company after submitting my application and now I think I should inform them (please correct me if I'm not required to do so). I found 2 addresses of my VO, which is Singapore, in CIC website. One is mentioned as their 'mailing address' but says 'not for courier' and the other is mentioned as their 'office location'. If I need to inform them about my new job, and send supporting documents, I want to courier the letter & docs -which address of Singapore should I use for courier? Please help.

Robinson Road: Regular mail
One George st: for Courier.

Thanks a lot!
One more question, do I send the originals of my new contract & reference letter, OR notarized ones will do?

Copy of the original of the contract & reference letter
tell your HR department to put seal and sign on that.

Dear ALL,

Yesterday we have arrived in Toronto, Canada very Smoothly. ZIA airport is OK. No prob with the higher amount so dont need to be afraid ever for such cases. we were carried by JET- AIR CANADA, Dhaka-Bombay-London-Toronto Route. We enjoyed our journey very much as we were 8 members. But its a long long journey. Bored with London Airport as their security checks is very tight. But everything is perfectly ok.

Immigration process in CA is wonderfull. we were just like a family. one carried my Luggage another carring my baby & its full of fun even the immigration officer was astonoshed to see such group. it takes only 40 min to complete. No B4 List asked to see only in my part my immigration officer asked me to show the fund. Customs is OK.

Lastly please dont be afraid of the weather bcoz yesterday it was -3 cel. But it seems OK. I have seen children were playing with the snow & I understand they make their weather fun.

Just my Advice dont be panic. Those who got MEd request they will get VISA Insallah & dont be tensed with the Immigration process in CA. Only you can do is b4 leaving country love & pass as much time with your parents & beloved one's. The only thing you will miss is their love affection & ............

Pray for us Only.

Since Bangladesh has now started issuing Machine Readable passports, I was thinking to apply for one now. But I am concerned since CIC has my current passport number, would it be a problem if I get a machine Readable passport now (whose number would surely be different)?

mchowdhury

you can give a try and mention this to cic. one of our group mate did so and got visa....
so i think no prob to convert PP to MRP untill they send u PPR.

Thanks for your reply Swapnochary! is that group mate from this forum, then I could get some detailed advise from him/her? do I just inform my VO Singapore about the new passport number?

I applied on 12 August, received a letter from cic on 25,Nov. But not able to check online application status.
Do they update later.
