ripon,
please share your subsequent plans, how youre preparing yourself to leave your country, which airlines, how much money and in which form, if you got any friend there, where are you gonna stay and in which city of Canada and why.
Sabbir,
I was also thinking about Cathay Pacific and Dragon Air (they have merged in 2006). Dragon is good and leaves zia at around 10-11pm at night everyday and then using a Boeing 777 they go to Vancouver and I think rest they use Air Canada. Cathay is obviously a good choice as you mentioned.
One drawback of Emirates is they don't provide anything like snacks or something during the lunch to dinner breaks or Breakfast to Lunch breaks. This annoyed my cousin a lot a few months ago. DAC- DXb flight was good and food was excellent. Another problem is they use a Non AC bus to carry the Emirates passengers to and from the Airport. This was so bad in terms of their reputation. I'd still experience the A380 at least once operated by Emirates. its actually a big confusion and a combination of Time, Money, Aircraft and Airlines preference, Transit hours, Transit time stay in hotel or at the airport and arranged by whom, One or return as One way cost almost close to return fare.
