Sorry for the delay buddy ... ve to attend some family affairs ....... wats ur status????

I think u'll get ur PP by next 10 days..... in my cases...i was just amazed... i ve submitted the PPs on 8th of Aug....and received the PPs on 29th. But the date mentioned in the notification letter was 16th Aug! Yes, that fast they are...... . U also can call them .... there is no problem at all.... but i think just give them a month... i'm obvious that u ll receive ur PP by then......

Hey buddies,

I ve a query..... i jus came to know that Child Tax Benefit (CTB) might be affected if one carry plenty of fund/ hard cash/ draft/ tc at the time of arrival in Canada.

Like, for 3 family member including applicant, suppose min. fund requirement of CIC is $ 11,700.00 but the applicant is carrying $50,000.00 and declare it accordingly at the time of landing, then there is a chance, that the Govt. might reduce the monthly CTB in future, as the Govt. has information that the applicant has enough cash in hand and at Bank.

What do u think? Do you have any idea/ information regarding above?

Bro, u get me wrong.....i think we have already discussed the matter b4......... CTB obviously a social benefit by the Govt. but not compared to the unemployment benefit.... u r right bro ... we should not go for the social benefits as long as we have the strength to fight...... but CTB, as far as i know, it's just a support of the Govt. to the tax payer for their child. And most of the Canadians avail this support of the Govt.
