I just received my medicals....and would like to know if verifications process is over?? can a file rejected after receiving medicals?? unless we have some sickness besides that is there any reason for them to reject??

there are rare chances of rejection after issuing medicals. mostly no rejection.

After waiting for 10 months finally the second line appeared on my e-case. stating we have started processing your file on sep 23. In that mean wile i got a reply for my inquiry on oct 1. I send this inquiry exactly two months ago and the reply from NDVO is posted below.

This is in response to your recent email inquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

We acknowledge to have received application forms for this application.

Furthermore under Canada's immigration legislation, all immigrant applications are subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted permanent resident status. In this context, certain background investigations are being conducted in connection with your application. As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case.

For now, there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the checks are completed the next steps in this application will be determined. Until then, we will not be able to provide any additional information on this case.
We trust that this information will be of assistance.


I have few questions,

1. Is that in my case just they have started my background check (i mean after my second line updated in my e-case)
2. If they just started my background check so how long i should have to wait for my MR.

yes indeed vijay yr current background checks are going on and u can wait for another 3 to 6 months for medical.

I'm in a very odd situation here so could someone help please.

I have two applications running in parallel:

First Application (Federal Skilled Worker)
application for permanent residence received on April 6, 2010.

the application was transferred to the Damascus office on June 15, 2010.

(they closed the Damascus VO at some point and all files were transferred to Warsaw VO)

the application was transferred to Warsaw on February 3, 2012.

they started processing on March 6, 2012.

Second Application (Family Sponsorship):

I got married about 1.5 years ago and to a Canadian were living in Europe and since my husband found his ideal job back in Canada he went back and applied to sponsor me.

files submitted August 2013

Sponsor was approved in September 2013

Medical Report done and sent in August 2013

Medical Reports received September 2013

Processing on the sponsored applicant started in Vienna VO in September 2013

Meanwhile I have just received and email for the first application ( the FSW one) asking for updates for personal info+ travel history+family info+ my husbands signed copy of passport.

2 QUESTIONS HERE:

1. Does the fact that they didn't ask for my medical report mean that they are gonna use the other one?

2. If not, then how much longer do I have to wait to get asked for my MR after I send my updates?

ist they asked u updated documents, when u will submit then soon they will issue MR, as MR always issued after updated coduments, as ur case is also 2010 case.
better to go for family sponsorship will be faster than FSW skilled worker.

both applications are running but the family sponsorship one is gonna take another 12 months as they show on the processing time table. I thought that the FSW one might come to the happy ending faster than the other one.
