pcc is valid till 1 year. FEb 2014

It is different for each country and some countries write the validity on the certificate. If there is nothing written on the certificate then it is valid for one year.

Thanks for your response re the PCC validity.

In Feb 2014, should we wait for them to ask for it or
shall we get it done ourselves and send to them?
Guess that will save processing time?

I would advise against that. It is not necessary that they will ask you for the updated certificates in Feb 2014 and the request could come several months later:
1. When they ask you for it, it will give you validity of another year from that date.
2. If the certificate is more than 3 months old at the time they request it, it would not be accepted.

Is it possible to get some kind of time line for the Quebec Investor visa from NDVO.

File was shifted to New Delhi in April 2013 from CIO Sydney.

Dear Respected members

I would very much appreciate if some one clears my doubt. I had applied in June 2010. I received a request to submit all my documents to CHC New Delhi during september 2010 and had submitted the documents by January 2011. Two years passed by with no news and hence I moved on thinking this is not going to happen. But July 30th 2013 I received a email request for Medical + PPR +RRPF+ PCC. Did my medicals by August 17nth and the ecas status showed the status line medical result received on September 2nd 2013. Now due to the new requirement of getting the educational qualification credentialled by WES, i was able to send all my updated forms + ppr +rrpf +pcc by September 10nth and received by CHC on 11nth 2013. My last date was September 12th 2013 for submission.
I had send all the required supporting documents such as experience certificates, reference letters from my employers, PCC from India. I was in kuwait during 2001 to sept 2004. It is already 9 years that has passed now. However i had provided an original certificate from criminal investigating department of Kuwait regarding my stay over there during 2001 to 2004 sept.
I would like to know whether my file will take more time and again security checks will be made for me even though I have provided all the necessary original documents from kuwait and pcc for india.

Can any one provide me with a probable date by which my file will be completed.

My category is AINP family stream PNP. I had sent my complete package to CIO in June12 and got AOR in July 12. CHC london sent me a letter in JAN 13 and asked for medical , PCC and RPRF. Me and my spouse did medical on 27th Feb 13. First week of May13 I got email in which they asked updated documents request.
My husband traveled London 2 times and KSA 1 time in 2006. His first visit duration was for 10 days and second visit duration was for 12 days. His umrah visit duration was only for 5 days. I mention his all these travels in Suplementory Information your Travel form, but in his background declaration form in column Personal history I forgot to mension his travels.Now in updated documents request they didn,t ask to fill Suplementory Information your Travel form. My question is should I inform them my spouse travel now or wait for their response. After sending updated documents in mid May13 I have no communication with LVO. Processing has started on my application since last week of Jan 13.Ecase shows medical received line. I have sent first time status enquiry email on 10 Sep but yet no reply.

PCC AND CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION REPORTS ARE FOR CRIMINALITY CHECKS
SECURITY CHECKS ARE DIFFERENT THAN CRIMINALITY. SECURITY CHECKS TAKE AVERAGE IN INDIA 6 MONTHS.
YOU SHOULD EXPECT ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE YOU HAVE SUBMITTED YOUR UPDATED DOCUMENTS, 6 MONTHS FOR SECURITY, 3 MONTHS FOR REVIEW AND 3 MONTHS FOR PPR 1. THIS IS PREDICTIONS APPROXIMATE BUT NOT EXACT. DUE TO CRIMINALITY, OR SECURITY ADDITIONAL CHECKING IT MAY TAKE MORE TIME AS WELL

I have replied you some where as well.

your BGC is completed and you can expect something good very soon.
i hope they will give your medical extension of 3 months and therefore you should be ready to move within 2013.
this is my personal view./observation.

bgc cekc depends upon all the countries where u lived or visited since 18 years of age. if uae only it is matter of few 3-4 months.
