If a person has already submitted PCC of a specific country and has not traveled back to that country does he/she still need to apply for a fresh PCC?

For instance having submitted the passport and mentioning the above statement in the covering letter and attaching xerox copy of the old PCC to the V.O ....will that be sufficient?

As the V.O can cross check the passport and also go through the copy of the Old PCC for reference.

Related more specifically to NDVO.

Dear Qorax
Our ecas has not been working since last week !!? This morning it worked , but when we got through we found out that our CANADIAN adress has disappeared !!! We'v had decision mad and Canadian adress through out on ecas the entire month of January !!!! Now we'r worried cuz our passports are gon for visa stamping since a month and 4 days now ( but no visas yet ) should we associat this delay in our visas with the disappearance of Canadian adress on ECAS ??? Is a bad sign ? Will it affect our visas !!!

This is the same question im asking u as i cudnt get any response from you. It is said that NDVO would not issue MR for the year 2013 since the visa quota for the year has already been occupied. Is it true? Some of my friends who applied in April 2010 have also got MR but we, the May and June applicants, have no luck till date. Plz share some idea if u know about the visa quota of New Delhi visa office. Thanks in advance.

i did my medicals on the 20th of december 2012. send the updated forms, PCC and RPRF on the 18th of January 2013.
LVO replied to my last CSE that 'the file is pending review by an immigration officer'.
my ecas is not updated with the medicals recieved line.
my questions are:
1. as its been two months since i completed my medicals is it safe to assume tht i have cleared medicals as havent recieved a remedical request to date?
2. as ecas is not updated with medical received line does it mean tht security checks are still going on?
3. do u think tht at this stage background checks such as documentation checks and criminality checks might still be going on?

Dear Architect, dont worry, visa issuance and e-cas problem are handled by differnet departmetns, therfore dont worry, there might b chances of security background checking only, but still it is fine, just enjoy your life and get ready for the different life. Nekeol

I've asked you recently in other thread ,You didn't answer me, hope you may help me through my case:

I am a pre Feb 2008 applicant,My file No. received on september 2007 From Vienna office in Federal Skill worker category,and V-VO start processing on my application after several updates on March 2012,,
I've requested for Medical in March 2012 ,and the medical received line was added to my Ecas on April 2012,
since then in October they asked again for Police Certificate and work certificate updates which was submitted by the end of October,

As I asked them about my PPR about end of december 2012, they said We will inform you about the further steps after all background review have been completed!!

Now it is almost 10 months after my medicals,,how long you think it will takes more???I'm so nervous...and also my E-case doesn't work since last week..
Would you please help me and tell me what to do??Is there any chance to get my visa before my medical expires??
Is background check takes more than this?

after medical only secuity check is pending, in your case, i hope security check is pending OR in process, security check depends from person to person and from country to country. therfore it takes time. in Pakistan VO is not working openly for their own security, therfore it takes time while checking security in Pakistan. please dont worry, enjoy your life, be happy that you r much senior than the other applicants. Prepare yourself for Canada and get maximum info about canada, with cool mind although waiting is more difficult and disturbing. NEKEOL

1. From the date ur file got transferred to the VO.
2. Those processing times r generic, may not apply to everyone, it's for the best case scenario.

If the PCCs were submitted a yr or so back to the VO -- they might ask u for fresh ones.

It might be a temporary phase while ur pps were being stamped. I'd believe that ur pps r on it's way back to u, stamped with the PRVs.

I don't hink so. Usually the quotas get depleted by the yr-end, not in the beginning of a yr.
