Dear Qorax :

I've asked you recently in other thread ,You didn't answer me, hope you may help me through my case:

I am a pre Feb 2008 applicant,My file No. received on september 2007 From Vienna office in Federal Skill worker category,and V-VO start processing on my application after several updates on March 2012,,
I've requested for Medical in March 2012 ,and the medical received line was added to my Ecas on April 2012,
since then in October they asked again for Police Certificate and work certificate updates which was submitted by the end of October,

As I asked them about my PPR about end of december 2012, they said We will inform you about the further steps after all background review have been completed!!

Now it is almost 10 months after my medicals,,how long you think it will takes more???I'm so nervous...and also my E-case doesn't work since last week..
Would you please help me and tell me what to do??Is there any chance to get my visa before my medical expires??
Is background check takes more than this?

Hi,

If u r not an NDVO case, by receiving meds - it's assumed that u've completed ur b/ground checks. After which, in only one situation those docs could be asked again, i.e. if ur file went to ECU, b'coz they reAssess the cases once again. This has happened with many since 2011. And with ECU we really cannot put a timeframe to our case processing.

Sorry for being unable to give out a/ny clear-cut response/timeframe.

1. From the date ur file got transferred to the VO.
2. Those processing times r generic, may not apply to everyone, it's for the best case scenario.

Hi,

My visa office is Vienna,I've done medical on April,and after six months I Submitted again Proof of funds and Pcc which was submitted before MD's and was completely expired..so is there any other steps after Medical?Or because I traveled a lot security checks takes longer time???you said maybe it sent to Ecu?what is it??

Im sponsoring my husband through the abu dhabi embassy,,, I filed on August 10th 2012 and Abu Dhabi received my file on sep 20th 2012, I got a document request one December 4th 2012 and I sent them everything,,,,,,

I went to my MP to inquire about my case,, and he was able to look into my CAIPS notes,,, He that they had received all my documents,,,
he said that they didn't get check eligibility yet, but he said security check had been initiated.....

my E-CAS still shows medical results received and application received and nothing else... not even in process yet.... should it not be in process or showing that on my E-Cas cuz my MP mentioned that they had initiated security checks from my CAIPS notes...

whats going on on my case? Please shed some light if you can......

plzzzz reply me,my question is that
we are three cousins,we applied for PR on same day we receive medicals and done our medicals on same day and been received by CIC on same day (5 jan 2013).we get all correspondence from CIC on same day everytime . Now since 2 weeks i had a issue with my ecas as i can not log in but nothing wrong with my cousins ecas.Five days ago both my cousins receive PPR1 via email but i did not,now my question is that what went wrong with my file,is it the case that my ecas was not working that is why i did not receive my PPR1.Plzzzzz dear reply me as i am soo worried

CONGRATS for status update dear.not more than 30 days but in your case i think it will be even less than that as your Background check must have been already concluded so things will move even fast.
one question are you MI1 or MI2 applicant?
as most of MI1 applicants dont get medicals received line in their status.
