Dear Qorax, waiting for PPR-2 from last 13 weeks, CSI sent on 10th Jan but still no response. What should i do know, any suggestion ???

I've noticed some taking 3-months++ to get their PPR-2 since PPR-1... I believe it all depends on the veracity of indiv security checks, quota+VO's scheduling and their workload.

Shoot them a query once a month now.

1. Do I need to mention my spouse's driving conviction in the application form?

2. Can you please provide some experience letter formats?

3. I've worked in my father's hotel for a year, is it good to take experience letter from my father it self? I used to get paid cash every month. How do I prove these cash transactions?

3. U can... however w/out documented salaries it'd be negatively viewed as case of convenience. But if u have bank deposits of a fixed amount - in fixed dates - u may tend to argue that those were indeed salaries.

1. It's ur personal matter/choice.

i was added to my husband's application (after he got the visa) like more than 8 months ago (may) medical, Fees etc.. sent by end of june. till now we didnt receive any update. my medicals will expire on the 29th of june. (my husband's already did). isnt it weird that its taking so much time for the Background check?

1. It usually takes 6-odd months to get fresh PPR after spousal addition.
2. Post visa stamping -- such addition/s tend to be scrutinized tad severely.
3. Warsaw is pretty slow.

Thnks qorax.. Put reminder cse i posted this previously but didnt get a reply. One more question should i send them an inquiry? We did get an update from them mid january saying that bg heck are still ongoing.

I have done my Medicals in DEC 2012 & sent all the required documents in the 3rd week.My vo is NDVO.

My DD was encashed on 5 Jan 13.

I am having 10 yrs of travel history with 12 countries visited.

What type of Background checks CHC conducts on the travel history.Does it contacts the embassies of the country visited by the applicant .
Is it done for all the countries or randomly.

Appreciate ur advise.

CIC takes various means/measures to assess our security parameters... they may or may not contact each country.

We'r in big trubble and are facing the worst situation in the history of immigration . Every thing went smooth since the start of our process for ( FSW permanent resistant visa ) we applied in December 2011 got our ppr2 (original passports request ) to be sent to chc Islamabad for the final visa stamping ( we are 5 family members ) today is more than 5 weeks and did not recieve our passports back with visas !!?? Last night our consultant calls us and tells us this STORY " I'v come to know that your passports have been stamped with visas since last week and they are at the dispatching section but due a problem your passports are going for some security screening which will take a nother 10 days , and your passports will remain with the dispatching officer at chc Islamabad untill we'r clear !!!!! Dear Qorax what is all that !!!! He says that this only happense to 1 unlucky case in 10000 cases ......... What do say sur is he telling the truth !!!! Please reply what could went wrong with our visas after clearing ppr1 and ppr2 ??? How long more do you think we have to wait please please please answer us please

1:cic has published thier CHC processing times & for london office shows 19 months ,

2: where from these 19 months start ??

3: frm application sent to cio novascottia ?

4: frm date of PER frm cio novasottia ?

5: frm date of transfer file frm cio nova scottia to london ?

6: frm 1st reply of LVO ?

7: frm addition of 2nd line in ECAS that we have started processing ur application ?

ur kind reply will help me to understand the ultimate time line to rcv my visa
