2) HIRV is human rights violation. Its a part of background check

3) Counterfoil is the visa label to be put on your passport. Depends whether your country of passport has a visa waiver program or not

4) cant say about BFD. Its keeps on changing.

Hi, thank you for your assistance. I am curious about background check and background verification. I did not see even one word about these procedures in my GCMS. Maybe diferent abbreviations are used to describe these procedures. Can you plz advise how I may identify if these procedures were carried out or not?

from the date you submitted schedules and forms, your security background is in process, just wait soon or later your process will be completed.

Background check is taking forever.i just cant understand why.Vo says file is in queue for review.
How long does review take after additional docs are sent?its 60days since vo received add docs

when file is in queue it is VO duty to check it and no one can force them
it may take more than 60 days sometime when things are not clear and any ambiguity is seen.
When they write waiting for review it really means the same...
just wait, pray and enjoy

Background checks are done after MR? or before MR?
Over the last month I have observed LVO, NDVO and CVO issuing PPR within 2-3 weeks of MR, in some cases within a week's time. So is it possible that background checks were done earlier?

I am very frusrated to see that my security and criminality checks are not over as I have been under processing for 340days already.
What I do not understand is if my security was in April 2015 how can assignment date be March 2016? Are they going to give me visa one month before expiry of my visa?
What is RC-6262?
What is HIRV? When it starts?
What is counterfoil requires?
I also could not see any next BFD. All BFDs are outdated. Plz advise

"Please note that your application is currently undergoing security background checks. Background checks are a part of normal procedures in the processing of an application for permanent residence. The Immigration and Refugee Protection Act requires that each person applying for permanent residence be assessed in many different ways. These checks are conducted for CIC by outside agencies and any delays that they may incur in providing input to CIC is something over which we have no control. For this reason, processing times are case by case and sometimes significant delays may occur. Once all verifications are completed, the responsible office will follow up with you regarding any pending requirements.

Does this means my misrepresentation has been resolved and They had started Security?
I am still waiting for my Medical request.

MisreprentTion is different than BGC, BGC is long process. If there is nothing misrepresent from ur side then soon u will get MR. Delay in MR is better than expiry of MR.
