Dear qorax

I applied under MI-2 FSW1 and I received my MR From Kuala Lumpur VO, and it's Done on 16 March 2012, the results received 23 March in Sigapore and Med. Results line added in my E-case in April 24th. Unfortunately Kuala lumpur VO is closed on 30 April and all PR application transfered to Singapore VO. Do you think this transfer will affect too much in our timeline to get PPR? Do you think if i order notes now, it will be useful?

Today i recieved a call from CHC Islamabad and he was confirming the height of me and my husband (We mistakenly

mentioned in inches )and also asking about our medical so i inform him the medical examination date .

Also he said that they r waiting for our meds and after that they will issue our Visas .

i did my medicals and my rprf encashed 2 months ago ..no dm yet. my vo - ndvo. i removed funds due to some emergency. is pof an issue now to make decision. anyhow i wil arrange before leaving to canada to enter ..

I have received a letter from CHC LON requiring to submit Updated forms/Police Certificate and RPR fee.

please give some expert opinion on the current stage of the case , whether the background checks are over ?

Do you know how long it approximately takes for them to do the background check? I have sent my medical documents 2 months ago, I'm from Iran, do you know if they will contact the local police in Iran to send them security docs, cause if so I know that could take a while!

Well if they have not asked you for Medicals then your background checks are still under process

IMHO that'd double-up SVO's burden, which could mean a bit of delay for sure, but I do not think it'd wide & far. U could still make it within the usual timeframe of 3-5 months from the med submission to PPR.

That's b'coz ur file was still under the 2010's 2-yr wait queue when u fetched ur CAIPS. It probably has come out of it now and thus, in a few weeks u could see some movement.

Usually they wouldn't care about POF once the meds have been submitted. Pls give it another few weeks to a month & u'd have ur pps stamped.

3-5 months. And u'd have some info on further processing, probably ur meds.

In 3-5 months from the meds submission u should have ur security checks & meds 'secondment' completed & receive ur PPR.

Hi all,

i have a doubt...

for few of my friends and forum mates,they got telephonic verification call ,employer verification before the status change to "in process"...means their status changed to "in process" after all these verification over phone...one of my friend got interview call on June 21st one week before.his tele phonic verification happened on october 2011..and in process from jan 2012.one of my other friend did'nt heard anything after that verification call (before the status change)....

in my case , the verification of my educational documents and and other requests initiated after showing "in process " status. i did nt get call till date...its almost 7 months of "in process"....this info i got in gcms note..before changing the status to in process they have done my eligibility review...education,work exp,ielts,POF etc.....after all these only they changed the status.

as per my knowledge,after shawn "in process",they will do only background checks only,exp etc..am i right???...why it is happening controversial????

pls share ur thoughts....
