I was there for a while, but have not submitted any certs with my application as this needs to be furnished only on request. Have you been asked to provide clearance?

Here in Washington DC, the Saudi Embassy accepted our request but processing time is 4 to 6 months which is beyond my deadline to submit my documents. CIC Buffalo then sent me a request for additional documents and that included the Saudi police certificate of my spouse. At that time, the certificate is still not available and the Saudi Embassy does not entertain follow-ups. I then sent a letter to CIC requesting for the waiver of the Saudi police certificate. In my letter, I attached the copy of my husband's request addressed to the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia and the stub that was given to him when he went to the embassy. I also documented the sequence of events from the time he submitted the request to the latest attempt to make follow-ups. I did not receive any feedback from CIC but I did receive the request to submit RPRF and passports. The Saudi police certificate arrived though after 4 months but I am already in the process of visa stamping. We will just have it ready just in case CIC asks for it. Hope this helps.

I submitted our documents to CIC Buffalo with the Police Clearance Certificate from Saudi Arabia. We got it from Saudi Embassy in Wahington, DC. It took them almost 4 months to send it to us. Thanks for sharing your timeline.

I stayed in KSA for 6 years and in UAE for 5 years, last Feb i submited my application along with police certificate for KSA & UAE & Syria.
I got my AOR im march and since then nothing new.
Do you thinl that backround check in KSA will take long time?

To robert_geeni: My husband also worked in UAE. He submitted his request for PCC to the Abu Dhabi police in June 2009. The PCC did not come. Good thing, CIC did not ask for it.

What is the fingerprint certificate here? Can I apply (again) for US State PCC and send it - or do they want the finger print card itself?
What is required for residency papers? Can I send copy of Saudi Visa stamps on passports? I dont have copy of Iqama.

Hello! Just want to inform you that we got our visa yesterday (4/20/2010). CIC- Buffalo did not ask for my husband's Saudi PCC anymore, that means, they accepted my request for waiver.

We did our medical last April 20,2010. Do we need to get PCC now from Saudi Arabia? Or we will wait the letter from CIC Buffalo requesting the PCC? I read in their website that you need to provide THE LETTER FROM THE SOURCE ASKING FOR THE POLICE CLEARANCE. Can we get a PCC from Saudi even without letter of request from CIC buffalo? Thank you so much...
