Can anyone tell me the average processing time for permanent residency applications from Haiti?
Thank you in advance as always
That is not an "average" time. It means out of 80% of apps, the longest one took 14 months. The "average" is usually LESS than the time posted on CIC website.CanadianWifey89 said:http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp
14 months for stage 2
The most recent statistics say that 20% of the applications are processed in not more than 6 months and 50% are in not more than 8 months. If there are children involved, they say 20% are processed in 6 months and 50% in 9 months.pujwife said:Thank you,
I guess this is the standards time, I wondered if anyone had a different experience as a friend of mine said she received hers in 4 months ?!

You are looking at ALL PR apps including parents/grandparents, skilled workers, business, caregivers, refugees, etc.scosan said:Betina,
Thanks for posting that link. Amazing (and depressing) stats. Looking at Manila it shows that during last 12 month period ending June 30 (smack in the middle of the PAFSO strike) only 50% of the apps were processed in 13 months or less. An additional 30% took upwards of 30 months. I can't believe how awful the service we're paying for is! Zero accountability on the part of CIC!!
