Dearest Tangowisky, I'm fine.

I too was becoming afraid of the protracted silence from everyone.

Pls let's keep hope alive.

In a day or two, I'll update the house on my experience with AVO in the last one week.

I have to run.

Catch you all soon.

Okay ma, thank God for His mercies...
God will move mightily on our behalf and cause AVO to release our positive updates soon IJMN
Regards

Hi Abie, we did our IME about 3 days after yours & it reflected on e-cas about a week or two after.

My advice is that you contact the panel physician you worked with to confirm the family's file has been sent to France (Its meant to be done electronically, thus shouldn't take time)

In the mean time, do confirm that you haven't gotten any mails (Inbox & Spam) from AVO.

All the best.

Seconded!

Hello Arese, Please can you clarify the expected update one would get from AVO after doing medicals. i have my e-cas updated with "medicals received" a week after my meds. Should one expect some other update from AVO.

Also can you inbox me your number :)

Cheers everyone.

After medicals, you should get "Medical Received" on your ECAS, average of 2 weeks to one month after your medicals.

You need to contact your panel physician if this is not the case.

Since your ecas is showing medical received, you shold be expecting PPR any moment from now, After submiting PP, your ecas will later show Decision Made that is when you will be sent a mail for PPV pick-up.

Thanks guys. My hubby has a daughter from a previous relationship and she was included in our PR application. So there was a medical request included for her as well but her mum refused to let her take the medicals. My hubby sent the emails from his ex saying she doesn't want the girl to be included in the application anymore to AVO. He included a letter explaining the ex's change of mind regardless of his efforts to convince her to allow the girl take the medicals.
AVO replied that if she doesn't do the medicals, she would be removed from the application but he would never be able to apply for her again in the future. If she doesn't do it in 30 days, her name would be withdrawn from the application.
So I guess that's why our ecas hasn't changed, but fingers crossed.

Thanks. i don't know why people would allow emotions to rule over them instead of using their heads. It is a lot better for your hubby's daughter to undergo the medicals than being denied of PRV opportunity in the future because of her mother - that daughter may not forgive her mother in the future if care is not taken on this issue.
Please let your hubby use all the means that he has to seek help from close friends, family members, relations et al - to get his daughter's mother permit - for her to undergo just the test and nothing more than that for now, until when the daughter is matured enough to make a decision for herself instead of the mom's.

I received AVO's mail pickup yesterday. To God be the glory.

To the glory of God the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit, I received mail to pick up my Visa from Accra today. To all expectant, your season of celebration has come.
