I'm sure this is positive sign exactly same as what happened with youboy.
But sometimes coz were so tension we cant realize what is the meaning of words clearly. I'm really happy for you. This is passport request.

REGARDING POLICE CERTIFICATE REQUEST:

Dear All,

I actually do not want to be pessimistic, yet being realistic is needful in this forum with the visa requests;

Just to clear up something regarding anne1024 and the PC request, they need it in original, it is a good sign of course, yet not that it is over; I had the same experience, 2 weeks ago received the same letter, yet they had them already so I went to the embassy and they said it is ok, was “misplaced”.

Yet since then, now 14 days passed, nothing came up; neither the visa, nor passport request for stamping the visa.

I sent an email to confirm that it was a misunderstanding, I received that email mentioning "we will contact you shortly", and that is it!

Cannot deny that communicating and asking for things is a positive sign that things are moving, yet this is just a "step" in the whole proces, not a "Finale", things are not that fast, unfortunately.

Micio I am currently working as clerk here in Qatar now. I am applying for a food service position. Food service is not a highly skilled job, so the requirement is not as strict as skilled job that would require experience. Exam will be a normal one. Blood test, Xray and urine test. I still have not received any request for passport since I just finish my medical last week . It will take 2-4 weeks for the embassy to request your passport if your medical is approve. After they request your passport I dont have any idea when they can send it back to you with visa stamped already. I guess another month added but im not sure about it.

Well, in Youboy case it took 25 day to get his passport back with visa.
Any way i still believe that for anne1024 Requsting documents together with passport is very good sign.

each and everyone has diffirent cases.. depends on whos VO's handled the applications, however for anne I must say a positve sign too..

CONGRATULATIONS Anne!

This is really good news for all other hopefuls out there. This means that they are now processing those who sent applications in the last week of August (including my husband - I hope and pray so).

I think what the email meant was that they need you to send your original Passport AND original NBI (Green) Clearance from the Philippines. This original NBI Clearance should have been sent together with your application.

So go to the Embassy tomorrow morning and present these documents, I am positive that they will stamp your visa in the afternoon on the same day.

Hi anne,

Well, they requested to bring the Original NBI and your passport itself as they mentioned: we require the following documents:

"Valid passport or travel document for yourself. This must be received at this office by: 12/30/2012"

As having the original passport submitted is not a must, I guess it is a very positive thing that they requested it to stamp you the visa on it

Be there in the morning before 10:30 am to deliver both and see what they will say, if you do not get it in the afternoon, at least you can ask and for sure it will be for the purpose of stamping the visa.

I obtained today my police clearance certificates from my orriginal country, the thing it is written in arabic langage
The mail sent by CIC state that if I am submitting an original document,like PC, then notary translation should is not acceptable, and I need
to submit the original document as it is.
Does this means that I need to send the PC as it is without any translation?
