what is the police clearance they are asking? i already send the original copy with them but my NBI is with me

Nope, only here in UAE, i have my NBI with me, but upon sending my complete documents, the original police clearance from UAE is with them already

1. Are you resident in Abu Dhabi? I noticed you have QATAR flag on your profile.
1. Is your job in CANADA related to Food Service? Mine is in hotels yet is administration so not sure why is needed.
2. What type of exams they requested?
3. How long it took you to get the results of the exam from the physician?
4. After sending the results, how long it took them to ask for your passport to stamp the visa?
5. I assume you got the visa already, correct?

Your police certificate from your native country as well is requested in original, I think this is why they sent you this letter; the UAE only is not enough.

guys!!! i received an email from canadian embassy just now, letter stating this
Dear MARIANNE PERALTA TARUC:
This refers to your application for a Canadian work permit. In order for us to continue the processing of
your application, we require the following documents:

Valid passport or travel document for yourself. This must be received at this office by:
12/30/2012

From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age
of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate for yourself. Green NBI from Philippines
This must be received at this office by: 12/30/2012
Please note:
If a document is written in a language other than English or French, it must be submitted along with a
professional English or French translation. In cases where original documents are requested, notarised
documents are not acceptable therefore, the original documents must be submitted [example: police
certificate(s)].

What about your passport, it will expired soon or what?

If if you have any concern you can go directly to the embassy in Abu dhabi tomorrow morning and take the email with you , so the lady who is sitting at the information desk will advice.

Micio I am currently working as clerk here in Qatar now. I am applying for a food service position. Food service is not a highly skilled job, so the requirement is not as strict as skilled job that would require experience. Exam will be a normal one. Blood test, Xray and urine test. I still have not received any request for passport since I just finish my medical last week . It will take 2-4 weeks for the embassy to request your passport if your medical is approve. After they request your passport I dont have any idea when they can send it back to you with visa stamped already. I guess another month added but im not sure about it.

anne, chillax, dont shake up.. you should be happy because they are requesting for your passport and just so happened that they need original police clearance, you said you submitted your UAE PC right? so just go embassy personally with your passport and original NBI (national Bureau of Investigation) give it to them asap, they might tell you "please come back 1pm" hehehe meaning you papers are on last phase of processing.. Good Luck in advance

I also received a mail through ARAMEX requesting for original police celarance
I believe this is a positive sign for anyone, meaning they will issue the visa if there is no issues.
I already obtained the PC from Qatar , remains the one from original Country.

I’m sure this is positive sign exactly same as what happened with youboy.
But sometimes coz were so tension we cant realize what is the meaning of words clearly. I’m really happy for you. This is passport request.
