No news so far.
Any replying to email, updating ...etc.
please keep on updating so i will not feel that im alone facing unknown

you are not alone arabkuli, i send an email for follow but no reply.... feel so nervous everyday

Micio.. read below the message post by antonettegarcia few weeks back.. exactly same with you, same as well her following message to us that she got her visa in no time after that email reply from embassy


It's been 2 months since I applied for my temporary work visa.I sent an inquiry to the embassy about the current status of my application last Aug 29 and they only had an auto response.But when I checked my email,the embassy sent an email again on Sept18 with the file number they have given W**********(10digit number) as the subject of the message which states:

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry.

Processing of your application will be finalized shortly.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Immigration Section / Section de l'immigration/DK
Canadian Embassy / Ambassade du Canada
Abu Dhabi

The wait is over!Just got my visa today!I can't explain how I feel.It's a mixed emotions..It came on the least expected moment.Thank you so much to everyone who had shared their experiences here in the forum which is very helpful and reliable.You guys have been of great help to me

some are getting replies some are not but getting their visa sooner that expected.. dont entertain negative thought, one day they will surprise you for sure keep the spirit and faith high.. you will get it for sure ahead of me.. smile!

The one I got was: “We will contact you shortly”

See the difference and why I am more nervous?

anne its because very rare case in abu dhabi applicants getting refusal.. unless their applications are complicated and made some fraud on the informations they provided.. everything will gonna get well, all will be well cheers!

I received and email on an earlier sent inquiry saying:

"Your application is under process, and we will contact you shortly"

Anyone has any experience with such a reply?

guys!!! i received an email from canadian embassy just now, letter stating this
Dear MARIANNE PERALTA TARUC:
This refers to your application for a Canadian work permit. In order for us to continue the processing of
your application, we require the following documents:

Valid passport or travel document for yourself. This must be received at this office by:
12/30/2012

From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age
of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate for yourself. Green NBI from Philippines
This must be received at this office by: 12/30/2012
Please note:
If a document is written in a language other than English or French, it must be submitted along with a
professional English or French translation. In cases where original documents are requested, notarised
documents are not acceptable therefore, the original documents must be submitted [example: police
certificate(s)].

Micio I had the same message I got from the embassy. After a week they had sent me thru aramex documents requesting a medical exam from their required physician. Nothing to worry about coz after your medical (if it is ok), they will request your passport for visa stamping. This is a positive result for you.
