Sponsor your spouse, common-law partner, conjugal partner or dependent child – Complete Guide (IMM 5289)
"The person can apply for rehabilitation either:
- before you submit the sponsorship application, or
- by submitting the rehabilitation application with your application for sponsorship. If you choose this option, we’ll assess your eligibility as a sponsor and do the first assessment of the permanent resident application. However, we’ll only assess the sponsored person’s admissibility after they get a decision about their rehabilitation application."
You should already have AOR if you’re so late in the stages of the application. Next step after medical should be Pre arrival letter and finally Passport requestReceived Biometrics and Medical Request on 23rd and 24th Sept.Completed the medical and biometrics on 26th Sept.

Ok so heres a few tips on linking application to GC-Key first make sure your pick the option to use application number and last name. the information you will use to find your application to link in G-Ckey is the Principle applicatn info not the sponsor. you will first put the case/Application # of your file in the respective field then put your last name as inputted on the webforms. next when asked if you want to use passport or birth country pick passport and fill in the passport information of all principle applicants lastly they will ask you who are under this application if its only you one then put 2 do not put 1 if there is more then you one then put it as it is. if you follow all these steps you should be able to find your application and link it.Submitted on Aug 1st. Received AOR on Aug 30. Received Medical and Biometrics request on sept 5.
But still not able to link the link the account to tracker or gckey.
Always get the below error:
Incorrect or invalid information. Review and make sure it matches the information submitted on the Use of a Representative [IMM 5476] form or the Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual [IMM 5475] form. If you can’t create an account, it may be because your client’s application is not in our system yet.
Anyone else having the same issue.

Now the application is linked to the account.Ok so heres a few tips on linking application to GC-Key first make sure your pick the option to use application number and last name. the information you will use to find your application to link in G-Ckey is the Principle applicatn info not the sponsor. you will first put the case/Application # of your file in the respective field then put your last name as inputted on the webforms. next when asked if you want to use passport or birth country pick passport and fill in the passport information of all principle applicants lastly they will ask you who are under this application if its only you one then put 2 do not put 1 if there is more then you one then put it as it is. if you follow all these steps you should be able to find your application and link it.
Next the tracker is now working you can create a tracker profile however you will need the UCI # of the sponsor to do so remember same rule applies here only put the principle applicant information in not the sponsor. if you need further help feel free to reach out.
