I submitted aug 23rd and background verification is still in progress and eligibility hasn't started yet.. also did not received pre arrival letter..

Where can you find which visa office your application was sent?
I checked the tracker and GCKEY last update was from nov 17 which was when medical completed.
hoping it will come out this week..

Same boat as you, background in progress, eligibility not started, no pre arrival letter either.
No update since Nov 20 after medicals passed. Was informed in the SA pdf that file will be moved to NDVO.
Wonder when things will move.

I am also in the same boat...
Applied on 2 Aug,, Biometrics , medical and SA was completed on 17 october. File moved to NVDO on 17 october... Eligibility not started and background in progess from 17th... Still waiting... Not sure how long it takes for files in NVDO..

I don’t think anyone can say with certainty. You can check the detailed timeline a few people have shared to get a tentative idea.
It depends on the Visa Office too.

Same with us too, been over 2 months since medicals passed and biometrics.
File was moved to New Delhi VO.
