Aug 2023… waiting like others and trying to not remember/focus on what’s pending

11 months, 9 days as of today. No updates It's frustrating as hell

Hi Guys!

We applied online as a family, and it's been 10 mos. now from AOR. Our test invite is from the Vancouver office but according to GCMS that I requested last January, we have a secondary office which is Scarborough. We didn't get any update after we passed our exam.

We tried Webform 2x, 1st follow-up was last May 14, and they said it is in process. 2nd follow-up was last June 4 and we didn't get any reply. We approached our MP last June 18, they said they will contact us in 10-15 business days but we haven't heard anything yet.

I know all we can do is wait but until when? I just wanna know why our application takes time but no one was able to give any answers.

1 yr from the date of application. No further updates after test completed. tried MP, called IRCC, emailed via webform, requested GCMS 3 times. still no movements.

Hey guys, the Surrey IRCC office just emailed us to scan all pages including blank pages of our passport. Wondering if they are touching our applications now? Any good things should happen after this?

You might be in screening. They did the same to us in May, and we are now basically at September and still waiting.

confirmation email for what? that they had received our copies - I called to confirm because they sent nothing in confirmation.

Just checking in to see if anyone had any update as of recent. One year since my last update and since then just waiting on the security part like why would it take sooooo long? Anyway, just want to see if any of you've heard of anything.

Today I got LPP completed. Now waiting for ceremony email. Not sure how long it would take but at least there’s some hope.

I submitted my passport scans on Aug 27 after no progress since October last year

Which province are you in and if you know which office is processing your file?

Thanks. Vancouver Office but the Surrey Office sent me passport request

12 months, 14 days since application submitted and no updates since Test passed on 16th Nov (9 months, 28 days). Still waiting...

Not sure if this's the reason but both me and my wife renewed our passports after application submission.

This is frustrating and hope your files will get processed soon.
