what is the average wait time for oath after test? My test status updated to Complete on April 4th. No movement since then... Any info on the processing time for online applicants?

Same. My test was marked complete on Apr 12. Averages are 3-5 months, depending on LVO. At this point, I will be happy if we all become citizens in 2022.

The only day you can starting counting towards Oath is when you get a DM, until then its a wait could take days months or years to DM and DM to oath currently is 4 to 6 months

Thank you for contacting our office. Our records indicate that your background checks are in verification process. Once the assessment is conducted, you will be notified by the local Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
Please note, Clearances are mandatory requirement for all applications and need to be valid throughout the process until the day applicant take the oath of citizenship.

After the BGC Completion-contacted local office via test invite email for UP. ( 2nd June 2022 )
UP reason- Frequent travel between US and Canada (It was considered because of my unemployment and my conditional offer letter)

Congrats - Did you provide proof such as conditional employment letter? Did they call your employer?

Wow 17 days for Mississauga office is a lot. Ppl usually receive it within a week in mississauga. Does your friend live in Mississauga (Or GTA) also.. or does he live somewhere else?
From May 20 to June 7 2022; That’s 11 business days which is normal. Saturdays are minimum service at most Canada Post Office/Sorting Center. They don’t work on Sundays. Monday May 23rd 2022 was Federal Holiday (Victoria day). If my math is right, it’s about 11 business days in total…NOT 17 days.

Nah that can't be right! people are getting their oaths everyday, 4 to 6 months could be in 20-30% of cases (not 70-80% of cases as one could think)

Is it 4 to 6 months from test ? my BG was completed a month after my test so should I expect it from the completion of BG update date ?

This. And also, what about when the BGC was before the test window?

Despite all the items complete except for ceremony, my application was updated on June 1, 2022 to In progress. I am not sure what is remaining for my status to become "decision made". Does anyone know?

4 to 6 months from DM . There is no way Online applicants will get oath 3 to 4 months after test.

My wife and i was scheduled to do the citizenship test in May which we did on the 27th of May and passed. On the 31 of May my wife’s Citizenship test status changed to completed. Mine is still showing “In process “ even when I checked this evening. I have called and sent messages and all they said is its in process. Usually our updates are same day even with the completion of background check. Please do any one have a similar experience.

Don't worry. They just take their time. I took the test on March 31 and the officer updated my test status on May 4 (almost 5 weeks). It's not a big deal. It will come at some point.
