Hi @Forte - any email yet on citizenship ceremony email? I haven't got it yet. I don't see anything in my inbox yet.
It is always possible to reschedule the date.. But that rescheduling will depend on IRCC and I would not be surprised if you get a new Oath date anytime after 3 to 6 months.

+1 - that is why only request to reschedule if it's not at all possible to return to Canada for it. Otherwise, one may be waiting quite a while for the next date.
being outside the country is a good reason all-ready
if you are not able to be present here, ask for a reschedule. as you would come back, it won't matter how much time it will take

i have applied on Aug 24 paper application.
AOR: Nov 15
Background Check: Completed Jan 13
Havent heard back since then.
I called IRCC they said all is good and my application moved to the local office (Vancouver).
Anyone else in the same situation or having similar timelines?
Feeling disappointed given i cant travel and cant renew my former passport.
any advice?

All the applications will move and suddenly one day you will find yourself in front of the queue, I am sure you will regret this comment.

Reading the book 2-3 times and then running through the 414 questions YouTube video twice did the trick for me. Easy peasy. None of the questions were curveballs. As long as you've read the book + use some logic based on your living here, you should be good! Good luck!
How many months before PR card expiry should we apply for the renewal? I never expected I would come to this.. but I think I should be prepared.
