Hey Guys,

Just wondering if there is anyone else from the First week of August who is still waiting for approval.
My AOR : August 4, 2020
Inland with 1 inland common law dependent
Passed medical : September 29, 2020
Biometrics: November 23, 2020 Completed.

I've received 3 ghost updates after completing Biometrics, but I'm pretty sure the first one was a glitch as the website was having server down issues.
Those 2 "legit" GUs happened roughly 2 months and 2 weeks ago respectively ,all no emails , just application/profile updated in Portal

Am I getting close to the final approval ?
Does NOC affect processing time? Mine is fitness and recreation related so I'm guessing they postpone those covid-affected NOC applications ?

Ontario is getting put back in lockdown for 4 weeks apparently...hopefully doesn’t cause issues with everyones applications

As long as IRCC officers can continue to process applications from home. Otherwise more delays for everyone.

Hello everyone! I logged in today and my application was approved!!
See details below:

-AOR: August 17, 2020
-NOC: 4011
-CEC Inland, 1 dependent
-VO: Sydney NS
-Sec: office Ottaw
-GCMS notes from Feb 12:
Eligibility passed
Criminality in progress
Security not started
Info sharing completed

-Las friday: First GU (just caught it when I randomly logged in). Called CIC on Monday and agent said that all steps were passed.
-March 31, 2021 : saw the approval and info about CoPR in the portal. Not eCoPR yet.
it seems that August is moving so please keep swimming!! Good luck to everyone!

Yes. We all received it.

This is annoying. There is no update like since months. I have seen folks who received aor in august 2020 are getting their confirmation email. are they from other country or like some special candidates. don't know what's happening

Yup that's right. First you get approval and COPR "details" like document number etc. After a bit, you get the e-COPR via email. I'm also in same boat, approved in portal, awaiting COPR

Is it true? I heard many people in this forum saying something about downloading CoPR, so I assumed it should be downloadable in your CIC account, shouldn't it?

Aor August 25. Eligibility and criminality passed on March 29. Security not started. Any idea on how much time will it take for security to be passed?

From 1 day to 30 days. I called IRCC on March30, agent said security not started. Again I called IRCC on March 31, agent said security is passed. So it can vary for each application.
