I don't think the lockdown would impact processing the application. During the second lockdown (Dec2020-Feb2021) in Ontario, the COPRs were issued.

Interesting to know how officers are working currently (Work from home (Laptops) or shift basis), any insight on this @legalfalcon - Do you think there would be an impact in processing due to third lockdown?

Some of their processing actions need to be done physically in their offices. A lockdown will affect their capacity in terms of how many people can come in for shifts. That said, this latest one shouldn't be as disruptive...hopefully.

Here are some interesting numbers:
As of August 31, 2020, only 8.6% (748 employees) of IRCC's domestic (in Canada) staff were working from the office. 73.7% (6410 employees) were working remotely in some capacity, and 16.5% were on leave
