Asking on behalf of a friend:

When I called an agent today, he said my Criminality is in Progress and I have the same in my GCMS notes too. However, at the end of GCMS notes, it is as following in the GCMS.

"Primary Applicant PA RCMP Screening NRT 1 - India Police Certificate: Provided-NRT R10 OK Recommendation: Pass Criminality"

I got this GCMS notes on Dec 30.

Does that mean my criminality was passed (or) as the agent says, my criminality is still in progress.

VACs in India only started to take Biometrics for Students and Family sponsorship. My wife's and my BIL is expiring in 3 days. There was a tweet from Canadian High Comission that Biometric letters are automatically extended until all VACs can accomodate. My question is.. Should I raise a webform to let IRCC know about my delay in providing Biometrics ? And if Yes.. should I raise two webforms separatley for both me and my wife ?

My understanding is that people in Canada are getting COPR as soon as the PR application is approved.

I am in the same bucket. AOR Aug 8. Medical Approved : Sep 25 and No update on biometrics ( I am bio exempt and it says as: We dont need your finger prints for now). Called IRCC couple of weeks ago. Criminality In Progress and Security, Eligibility: Not Started. CEC Inland with one dependent Inland.

Same Aor with same status for me

Background has not started yet. File is still with Ottawa VO, what could be the reason for not starting background (security & criminality) ?
How long does it takes to complete once its started (rough idea, just to plan ahead) ?

I have very similar timelines, from what I understood is Ottawa VO is working with very minimum staff and Ottawa is also dealing family immigration and other stuff. Only hope is to increase their staff in 2021 so that they can afford to work on PR applications. Usually security & criminality takes about a month or so if there is no additional security flag.

Exactly the same status and AOR. The agent on the phone said they haven't started my security/criminality yet.

Hoping that they will transfer our files to some other VO if they can't handle the workload.

At the time of your CoPR what was the % on the status bar, in another forum someone posted that it is normal to receive PPR even though the status does not show 100%, hence the question.
