This is TMI. Please keep your post short and simple.
Hi! Sorry for the long post, I'm new to this forum, but I'll try to keep any future posts/comments short and sweet. :)

don't worry it's normal i submitted biometrics on 1st of september & had the same issue & also raised webforms & received the same answers as yours, it was only reflected as completed last week.
That's great to know. Thanks a lot for the reassurance and best of luck!

You’re welcome & best of luck to you too, i know how annoying this bug could be but rest assured as long as you can see your biometrics information upthere in the applicant information box, you’re good to go & everything is in order in your profile

Guys i was thinking that even if we got the PPR then the COPR we still can't travel to canada.

Right?
According to https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/canada: "Travel to Canada is subject to entry restrictions. Entry to Canada is limited, except for temporary foreign workers, most international students, Canadian citizens and permanent residents or their immediate and extended families, provided they remain in Canada for 15 days or more."

If you are ready to settle down for good I believe you can travel provided you receive COPR and have a quarantine plan in place.

Ever heard of the site Canada.ca, owned by the Canadian government? It’s kind of a portal site that leads to other government sites, including immigration and travel advisories.
Check this out.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...-covid19/immigration-applicants.html#approved
So even If I am ready to settle down for good I can't travel to canada if I get the COPR, Since:
1- I dont live in the US
2- I am not a direct family member of anybody in Canada

Thanks for the link.

Hi! I have a situation here, due to COVID-19 my employer has terminated my employment today, Nov 2, 2020 after being laid off since March.
My PR application is on process.

Closed-Work Permit Holder
Applied thru EE-CEC

Here's my timeline:

SEPT 25 - Medical Passed
JULY 26 - Invitation Received
AUG 6 - Application Submitted
Eligibility & Background still on process

Questions:
-Since I got terminated due to COVID, will it greatly affect my application?
-Can I call IRCC to know the exact status or update with my application? I saw a post here that they have called IRCC.

Please let me know your thoughts or what steps can I do about this. Thank you in advance!
