In progress but no date yet ? That’s still good news then. Mine is still not started :-(

Yes good news but for my daughter everything is In Progress so dont know what that means and how long woukd they take. She is just a minor. Should have processed alongside mine.

Wish I had an answer, my own file is gone for clearances eventhough my crim/background is passed. I have no idea whats going on. Perhaps every case is different. Everyone on this forum is here with one question in mind "What is going on ? "
You may want to start a new show on Netflix to help you pass the time as you wait. Have you seen Pretty Little Liars? I heard it's very good.

Hi Nepali,
CONGRATULATIONS! Do you think we have to be in the same residential address in the file, province at the time you take Oath? What kind of stuff you have to mention on the "Declaration" which comes with "Letter of Oath Invitation". Because I'm planning to move from this province. please let me know. Thank you

I don't know how it works if you change province before oath. I would think you can change your address on file - but that might mean your file gets transferred to the other location and potentially change your oath ceremony. Regarding the form, i did not fill anything prior to the ceremony. After the ceremony, the officer asked me to fill out just my name and signs and date at two sections. They give you clear instruction over the video. You don't need to mention anything on the form.

i got fingerprint request in December 2019, submitted in January 2020, given online test in January 2020, now again got request for fingerprints? How long is fingerprints valid for rcmp check?

Thank you for your prompt reply Nepali. That means, they didn't even ask where you are at that time? I think we have to be only in Canada, that's it. And in that ceremony, did you have any MPs from your electoral district? or it was just IRCC and judges? Also, do you have any idea how they deliver the citizenship certificate? by registered post or courier? please let me know. thanks in advance.

they asked me where I was - I replied with city and province. There were only IRCC and a judge. They told me that the certificate will be delivered by regular mail (Canada post) within 2-4 weeks.

I just received an invite for the Oath. The date is June 1st, 2021. Please update the spreadsheet.

Thank you so much for the information Nepali. Good luck!

Hi,

Is anyone facing a similar situation? My application is almost complete and i am waiting for the oath invite, however my 7 year old daughter's application has no movement on it at all and still in process. Is this common? and do they mark it complete when i get my citizenship certificate and send her certificate too? or should i follow-up with IRCC.

Thanks
