Hi guys
Finally after almost 3 years i got DM yesterday.
everything is now completed and DM on ecas.
My question is that am i going to wait for oath taking or should i expect to do another fingerprint for background verification, my BG is completed already but i did mine in 2019. Should i not be worried to do my FP again?
Any idea would be appriciated

Hi , i had my FP done back in 2019, background check went to completed March 2022, got FP request 2 weeks ago. to my knowledge BG has one year expiry time and gets re-checked prior to oath ceremony.

I got an update today. Oath Ceremony scheduled for June 24th. Still to receive the email. But finally the wait is over.

hello everyone, here’s a neat little trick I learned for calling the IRCC and to quickly get into the Queue (or at least more efficiently) save the following number in your phone and replace the X with your UCI, this will go through the menu for you without you having to press and enter the info each and every time, this way you can repeat continuouslyuntil you find a spot in the Queue.
I know this works on iPhone, but I am not 100% certain about androids, so let me know if it works there too!
Leave the commas in there too, those represent seconds your phone will wait before clicking the next number.

There’s really no timeline to follow anymore it could be anywhere from a few weeks to a year or in my case just over a year.
Having the all the checks on the tracker set to completed is usually a good indication that your oath is coming soon.

I am happy to finally say that I have received my citizenship certificate! With that being said, my application is finally complete.

made my application in September 2019 and I completed my test in June 01st 2021 and nothing since then. they said my file has been sent to Fredericton office and since June 2021 no update.
anyone knows what the Fredericton does and how long it usually before taking the oath

She took the test and passed it on March 28th, 2022

But her online application status still shows :

Physical Presence,
Language Skills,
Prohibitions

All of the above are shown as 'In Progress'

I am not sure how long it will take , we had recieved AOR on Nov 25, 2019

Hi guys. Yesterday I was an in-person interview (Scarborough office). The officer checked all my IDs (health card, PR Card, and passports). We spoke about my travels, job, and marital status. He asked me about future plans. And he was very friendly. I took my oath ceremony and citizenship certificate on the same day. After 3 years my citizenship journey is finished

Same here, got a ghost update on Oct 7, 2022, but looks like they updated tracker site this morning and may be updated some data while migration. But no change in any of the status as before.
