WOW! Just received a mail from Trudeau himself! Apologizing for the long process and sends over his private jet tomorrow and put an end to all this waiting misery. Of course I told him it's no bother, gladly wait a little while longer and arrive when it's wintertime in Canada... Jesus.

give us a lift

Well... It's been 1 year today since I applied, seems like I'm going to be hanging out here for a while:

"Your application is taking us longer than usual to process."

Duh

We got a request to re upload the stat declaration of common law along with more evidence of cohabiting (utility bills etc.) however, we only have one upload link available. Should we just create a pdf with everything scanned into it and upload that?

Also, if they asked for stat declaration of common law again do we need to get a new one considering we have now been in a conjugal relationship for over 2 years. (the stat dec we uploaded only says for one)

Get your mp involved
I am in the same boat. My 1 year is tomorrow. I have already contact my MP and they were not much help. They said they would follow up on the 28 th of August!

That's my idea of using MP, not sure what help they could offer. How does this work anyway?

I was taking advice from someone on the forum. I thought I would give it a try. Just explained my situation and if the could kindly look into it for me.

Well, it's worth giving it a shot. Just wonder which MP in Canada to ask for service, from district where my spouse last lived? (Vancouver - more than 6 yrs ago)
