File has been transferred to manila VO for processing. ecas changed to in process in oct. 24

Ay idea what will be the next step or what is their timeline?

How long it took after "medical results have been received" in Ecas for transfer of file to visa office?

Dear people who is applying for Quebec, when are we supposed to apply for Quebec celection certificate? Will we receive a request by e-mail? Generally the only difference for Quebecers is that our process is about 1 month longer due to the fact that we need to receive this certificate,or there is something else?

You will apply for the CSQ once you receive the AOR2 letter (confirmation that your file has been transferred over to the respective visa office). It will be written in the letter that you should apply for the certificat de selection du Quebec. This should not delay your application, as it happens in parallel to your file being processed by the visa office and is being handled by the Quebec government. In my case, waiting for the CSQ took a total of 3 weeks, and the Quebec govt. sent the certificate directly to CIC.

Christina,for some reason my ECAS just shows that application was received on August 25 and that's about it. Nothing else, I remember you were saying that they are slow in updating, but why would they mention on their website that it's it a daily updated tool?

I honestly don't know but I've read a lot that sometimes they send emails to non-existent emails as the make mistakes in email addresses and sometimes they don't send some of the emails and doesn't update the system regularly. So every applicant may have differences in the same process.
My ecas updates have been delayed as well. So u can wait or try calling them.

In our case, they send my husband's application to the local visa office when they received his medical result..same date

Mine is bit different bcoz I lived abroad for few years so they asked for pcc from both home country and overseas

Mine is New Delhi. Yes I have filed up that particular form for overseas pcc and submitted to cic as they gonna do it for me.

Any idea what's gonna be next after file arrives at vo. How long they take for ppr.

My representative received an email yesterday that our application was forwarded to the port au prince visa office for further processing. I'm hoping they will request medical soon. From what I've read it's a slow moving office...but hoping that's not the case.

I come from serbia I found at checking time the process for your country
I found the fact that for my country it takes 9 months now I do not know if it was a total account or since it was received in VO?
I really do not know.

I received my sponsor approval and I called the cic and the told me that my file was transferred to cairo visa office .... so my question is can I travel to egypt while the file in processing to see my family (wife and 2 little children) plz I need help to know as it has almost 5 months thanks

I don't see why you can't travel to Egypt to see your family since you're the sponsor anyway.
Your visit should not interfere with the application at all.
We all miss our families and wish we could visit like you do. I'm actually jealous.
