Landed last Sunday!

Took about 20 minutes, the CBSA officer said she hasn't done this for a while, lol, small border town problem.
But overall process was very straight forward!

Ok, at what point do I start crying?! Our background check started January 18th!

MyCIC finally shows application closed and approved! That probably means my return envelope with COPR should be on its way tonight hopefully! Excited, might land this weekend! Not officially moving till June but we want to get my SIN # so I can look for jobs and to open a secured credit card!!! EDIT: Package shows as being on the way!

No crying! The last time a bunch of DMs came, they trickled in over a few days. Positive thinking.

You'll get it soon enough! And yes they trickle in within a few days! If it makes you feel better, many of us took 8+ weeks in background check. Although that was probably an end of year quota/holiday issue, it CAN take a long time. Hopefully you'll hear something this week!

It's very very likely good news. MyCIC hasn't been updating for people until they've sent in the stuff requested in the PPR e-mail (which hasn't come yet) and the COPR's on its way out the door.
