Yeah, hoping all that helps. Do have one possible problem though. My FBI report, which I did include, expired a couple months before I sent it off. In the letter we attached I told them that I have a new one on the way and will send it as soon as it comes in. I've been in Canada since I got the first background check (been here 2 years now as a Visitor), but we'll see how they feel about it. I heard they are sending the background checks out a little faster than they were a year ago, hopefully that's true.

Other than that, mycic is still saying the same stuff. Top 2 reviews are "In Progress" and background check "Not Started".

I have an updated one too. I called to ask what I should do and the lady wasn't completely sure. At first she said I should wait until it's requested, then she changed her mind and said maybe we should send it with a letter of explanation. So I want to send it off.

There are 2 Aug.25th applicant from MVO who were already PPR. My application is 2 days ahead of them, I am Aug.23rd applicant but we have the same timeline from AOR, SA to file transfer. But why is it that mine has still no update? I am so sad Why is it like that? How about Aug.20-24th applicant? Do you guys already had an update?

Hi there, what date is ur AOR2? ,
I think it's really a case to case basis, and has different officer, if were lucky to handle by non bias officer , it would be nice, and if your apps is straightforward, we should expect update from them soon, but if you noticed there's still lot of backlog from late 2015 apps then early 2016.

I'm an early August applicant through MVO with a very straightforward application and still no update for us either. I guess it totally depends on the officer dealing with the app. I hope we both get good news soon!

AOR is OCT.13, started Processing on Oct.12, I have the same timeline with that two Aug.25th Applicants. I am starting to wonder why is it we do not have the same Visa Officer if that's the case.

Hi, I am August 24th applicant and still no update on both eCAS and MyCIC, I am expecting an update 1st week of December as stated from the acknowledgement email from my AOR2 documents I sent. They said after 28 days, I should be receiving updates, if none, assume that my applications is still in process. If there's any additional documents, they will advise right then. So I think better to let the days pass without them sending me emails, it only prove that my application is in good standing.

It is really hard to wait but for sure, that long wait will give us a short notice to fly... Isn't it exciting? Let us hope and pray that PPR is just around the corner, like Christmas... Good luck to you, to everyone and to all us here, waiting to be with our loved ones the soonest!

Received VO email for COC & RPRF on Nov 22, 2016. I emailed VO for an extension of 30 days and they replied me less thn 12 mins. Wow.. I am so impressed.

I paid my RPRF fee last Friday. Will courier docs for COC hopefully by Monday. Estimated my bro can receive my docs by Dec 3, 2016. He can walk in to police station with my original fingerprints and they will be able to give COC in 30-40mins time. Hopefully he got time to deliver it to Ca High Comm same day. Keeping my fingers crossed xxxx
