Hello August Applicants! :D Any status updates on your application... I am very excited to send the additional documents needed, just that AOM is taking much of my time, it'll take about a week to release my request and so unfortunate that it is going to be a looooooooong weekend in the PH. Probably will get my AOM on Wednesday! I will send it right away. Good luck everyone and Happy Halloween! :-X :-X :-X

I received my AOR1, SA and AOR2 and had sent my application on August 17th.

My VO is Manila like yours. I haven't heard anything since September 20th.

Getting figiddy ;D

Hey everyone, I hope some more good news comes our way this week. :)

Just wondering, did most people hand their police check in with their app, or are you waiting until they request more docs?

We sent ours WITH the application. We had to get FBI clearance from the USA, and at the time it took 15 weeks to process. Thankfully I looked into it early and ordered it way in advance.

Woah 15 weeks! That's crazy long! Thank goodness you got on it early and sent it in. In Ghana ours only takes one day, two days max. is yours good for a year?

Yes mine is good for a year! And I planned it out just right as we mailed our app exactly a week after the FBI check came back to us. Good luck to you with your PR app. I've been following this thread avidly.

Oh that's good! Great planning on your part too! :) thank you, and best of luck to you as well! This forum has been so helpful, and encouraging. :)

Hi BC-girl
The check list is what I meant. It listened that you need a police clearance for immigration purposes to Canada. I was told to scan the check list and the remain required documents, like passport copy, ect ect and sent it by email to covog along side the receipt that I had paid for their server. I received two copies. One was sent to Australia but would not be on time for me to submit with my application then I called covog and explained the situation. I was then advised to have my police check sent to my brother in NL so he could send it with a courier to Canada. I had it within 2 working days and eventually the one sent to Australia also arrived on time so I have a spare police check.

Hi guys
To apply for a GCMS, can I print out the request form, sign my part and scan and send it for my husband to finalise, pay the $5 and submit the form since my hubby resides in Canada and I am in Australia? My file was sent to Sydney via since mid September and have not heard anything since. I just curious if my file has been touch since and therefore a GMCS might provide me answers.
Thanks in advance for your time and responses.

What happened to our August spreadsheet? Is there a chance we could recover it or is it lost forever?

No Kidding?! Yikes. Why only applicants applying to Manilla on there?

I was able to restore the version. But seriously people, don't mess with the spreadsheet

Hey, thank you! Dunno how you managed to restore it and I'm glad you did.

I hope we won't lose it again!

This has happened a few times already. I am not sure why someone would play around with the spreadsheet. Last Tuesday, there were only 5 entries on the sheet. I was frustrated and wanted to lock it. I think it it happens again, I would only give access to August applicants who work on the sheet and the rest of the people can only view it.

Google automatically saves past revisions of each change made on the spreadsheet so it is always restorable no matter what. So the spreadsheet can never be lost technically :)

Absolutely! Are you the one who created it? If not, do you know who did? It has been a valuable tool for me. Very frustrating.
