WOW! that's great! Congratulations... and am still waiting for SA... and can't link our application to MyCIC... I've tried and can't get through. Again, Congratulations!

Thanks now we can seat back and relax. .cause I guess it will take awhile to hear from MVO after SA.
Since not everyone get AOR2 shouldn't be worry about that

I tried many times before till I got perfect combination for it.
They said, it would be better to order notes too, to see any update

Yeap. Its my birthday and thanksgiving on Monday. I will stay anxious on my birthday First time ever i m not excited about these labor day n thanksgiving holidays in Canada I wish they had to work round the clock 8)

ECAS still only first line , application received lol but Mycic just updated today background from "not needed this time to "not started.

You are not alone, we are still waiting for SA or any update from CIC. Email alert is driving us crazy. haha. Good luck to us! I know it will come anytime soon. ;D ;D ;D

Hey guys, you're not alone at all. I still have yet to receive my formal SA letter. I did, however, talk to an agent over the phone and they confirmed that I was approved as a sponsor.

Here is my timeline...

ECAS Sponsor Side -- Decision Made
1. We received your application to sponsor xxxx on August 16, 2016
2. Dependents listed are xxxx (non-accompanying family member)
3. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application on September 8, 2016
4. We started processing your application on September 7, 2016

ECAS Principal Applicant Side --
1. We received xxxx's application for permanent residence on August 16, 2016
2. We started processing xxxx's application on September 15, 2016.
3. Medical results have been received

MyCIC --
Application/profile status - Open
Review of eligibility - Review in Progress
Review of medical results - Passed
Review of submitted documents - blank
Scheduling an interview - Not needed at this time
A background check is needed - Not started
Final decision - Not started


Once I got my AOR1 email, my CIC account stopped working. It kept telling me that the application was unavailable. But just the other day, I logged on and it finally worked again (see above for what it says). I've called CIC a million times (ok, only 3 times) and they keep telling me that I will receive my SA letter soon and that they've already made a note for my officer handling my case but it's been now exactly 1 month (30 days) since I got my AOR1 e-mail and I still have no SA official e-mail or letter in the mail.

To those that have gotten SA already, does ECAS show you another line that says they sent you correspondence that you were approved as a sponsor?
