I am really sorry to say this, but we still have no information on our SA...nothing has changed and we keep calling to get updates but they just don't appear to be working on our case. They assure me nothing is wrong with our application and it isn't being returned...but for some reason they keep processing people who have came way after us and it is beginning to become really worrisome and I'm not sure what to do anymore but give up hope!

I'm a June applicant browsing the forum and wanted to say it took 83 days for me to get SA. US applicant Outland. Now I have people that applied two weeks after me that got DM two weeks ago. So I really do believe they do it in a strange order. Another person on here and I applied almost the same day and are convinced our officer is on vacation! No one knows what's going on over there haha.

Still hoping to hear something! Anything would be great really...

Mine is same "review in process ". I think by end of week I should expect aor2.

yep, aor2 should be within a week of SA.

There is Processing Time Changes to 18 months who applied from India.
I presume this is applicable for the Sponsor resides in India....Correct me if i'm wrong...

On MyCiC, Review of eligibility changed to In Progress!! Finally something new hehehe btw, I phoned them today and asked for any update and all they could say was that I'd get news very soon. Hahaha and then I check MyCiC and it had the change already! What if I never call? Probably it wouldn't have changed at all :o anyways! Good news everybody! ;D

Ecas changed the PR application status to "in process" but we haven't received AOR2 from the Paris VO... is there an issue with that? or does it mean that they just aren't going to send an AOR2? But it's processing in Paris as of Sept 23. Help with decoding what's happened?

In my case, PR application status changed to " in process" as soon as I received SA, however, I did not receive AOR2 until 10 days later. It is likely that Paris VO has a long queue.

Does anyone know or has an idea how to speed up process of spousal sponsorship? I badly need my husband here before I give birth. :'(

Sorry, I didn't see this until now!
I can't believe that! I don't even understand how they could possibly do that...Is the other person in the same situation as you? Did they get SA the same time as you? I honestly can't believe that they do it in order and it is entirely based on the agent you get...yet still, why wouldn't they set some sort of standard to ensure they are actually done in order...

Did you call them or email them any questions, and did they actually say anything to you as to why they took so long? We called them they keep telling us the "29 days for sponsorship approval is just an average" and to just wait... but I seriously don't understand what they are doing...there has to be some sort of accountability here...

They ensure us that there isn't anything wrong with our application, and maybe I need to just start believing that it is our agent... now I just wish we submitted it a day later.

Try to request and tell your situation. There are application that was granted in 5 months time processing.
