My wife's(PA) ECAS just shows the application and the medicals received only and yours was received a day after. I'd go with your assumption then and wait for them instead, cause I'll go mad if I check ECAS or MyCiC again hahahaha ???

Lol Yup, I know the feeling! I think I just need to stop checking and wait for correspondence from them.... Easier said than done though!

If you take a look at the "Applications summary" in the Outland August 2016 spreadsheet, there's a bit less than one third (1/3) of us, August applicants, still waiting for SA.

What is really frustrating for my wife and myself, is like what BCgirl_inNL put it, we thought we have a very straight forward case, a "crystal clear" situation too: we've been married and living together for almost a decade, and have two kids together as well.

Now we're turning really paranoiac and that is causing a lot of "maybes" and uncertainties in our life right now. The joy of filing our case and discussing our plans of moving back to Canada with the kids are now overturned by this unbearable waiting game and with existential questioning.

And for the record, even if we get our federal SA we still have to apply for Quebec SA as well. Holly cow!

BTW, I sent an email yesterday (Monday) morning to CIC and I'm still waiting for a reply.

Received AOR2 on Sept 29. VO requests personal details from 18 years old not for the last 10 years. What a bummer.

Not exactly. It's an average of 32 days since application reception by CPC-M, and an average of 8 days from AOR.

In my case, it has been 44 days (or 31 working days) since reception!
CIC is announcing an average of 32 working days before SA, so I guess I'll start really worrying tomorrow!

Don't worry, at least you got your SA. What they're asking is a technical thing, nothing really to worry about, just send the form (or an explanation letter) back ASAP.

You will get your AOR2 soon too! As long as PR application is In process, you're fine

Ecas changed the PR application status to "in process" but we haven't received AOR2 from the Paris VO... is there an issue with that? or does it mean that they just aren't going to send an AOR2? But it's processing in Paris as of Sept 23. Help with decoding what's happened?

I've checked my husband's status in ECAS (PA side), it was changed to In Process last Saturday but until now no AOR2.
