A bit of relief today to discover that MIDI finally charged my credit card for the CSQ applocation. Rarely am I happy to see a chunk of cash disappear from my coffers.
But, at least it's movement.

I also sent out a case specific inquiry attaching a photo of the original form and number.
It seems we are twins in this game.
What city are you applying from?
I would be grateful to hear what they say when you manage to call and get through.

We are both in Hangzhou China. Which is a good thing as this would be a mess for her alone. But I'm still confident that these little hiccups will smooth themselves out.
What I ended up doing was calling the clinic and they simply told me to do what I was already in the process of doing; send the copy (luckily we make one) of the original med. proof and sent it along with an explanation to the HK office attached to the requested documents from 2 days ago. This is on top of the case specific enquiry, so I hope it doesn't confuse them too much.

I got my SA on August 31st, but was delayed in sending the application until September 14th. And so it took about 8 days for them to charge my Credit Card.

My husband tried to phone that IRCC number on web, but he said it's only authomated answer. How you guys able to talk to an agent to ask about application status. Should we call them during weekdays, working hours?Coz I can't link app , no ecas , no AOR yet. :-[

Try to wait until next week, and see what happens. Besides, it hasn't been 29 days since they got your application. I know it's very frustrating to wait specially if someone who submitted their papers later than yours gets an AOR or an update first, but I believe that it doesn't necessarily mean that their applications are being processed first. Maybe the officer handling your file just does the online updates late, or maybe you just haven't found the right combinations to link your application to MyCIC.

Bottomline is, you will eventually get an update If you don't hear anything from them til the end of the month, then maybe it's about time to give them a call.

hi crazy D. when u see recent several months applicant status, it takes 20/30 days to get first notice from cic. maybe cic work load differ time to time & its effect directly application process time. its wise to contact with cic after getting AOR. we know that waiting time is really tense & painful ! but noway for sweet future.

dear Grizzlyman, i want to know one thing from u. i check & dowwnload kit A for me. but there instruction guide informed that under taking, declaration of authorization and document checklist form should filled in french. but document checklist found in english only. how u fill up document checklist -- in english or french ?

Yes, it wasn't in the kit oddly enough. I managed to find it elsewhere.
