Hi, I'd just like to ask when you login to ECAS, you use your UCI as the sponsor right and your information as well? I just checked myCIC and I've noticed that my husband's medical says PASSED but I don't have AOR1 yet. I've also provided my UCI when I've submitted my sponsorship application. Thanks!

Yes, I use my information when selecting UCI as my identification type

Then probably, the reason why we weren't given an AOR1 anymore is because we already know our UCI even before we submitted our application? Mine has the same thing. Medical results says "Passed", review of eligibility says "Review in Progress" and I have never gotten any "official" email from CIC as well.

I guess "Passed" is good enough for us (for now) to think that they are working on our applications ;D ;D

Thanks for the response lirabells. I've checked to see if I'll be able to access ECAS using my UCI but I still can't. Were you able to access ECAS right away when the status of medical changed to PASSED? Or did it take a few days? Appreciate your help. Thanks!

Give it a couple of days I think I still wasn't able to access ECAS immediately after they updated the status of the medical results

I am personally stressed over AOR because I want to get the confirmation that my application won't be returned. Even though, I checked it countless times and made sure every thing was fine but I am still worried that I missed something and the whole thing will be returned..that's my biggest worry..once, I have the AOR, I will have that piece of mind

Unless you had made a major mistake, I doubt the CIC will return the app to you. I think CIC has changed its policy, I had read many posts stating that CIC allows the applicant to revise and resubmit forms when there are minor mistakes.

I was able to link my file on mycic using my personal details. On mycic it says its open with inclusions of my dependents details. so I guest they this is enough to think that they had our application. Hopefully, SA is on its way.

For your piece of mind............please note that I received the AOR 1 but it only has application and UCI No. i am unable to access any information online so far
AOR is not the approval or any kind of proof that the application may/might not be returned. It simply is acknowledging that they received the application. Which by the way i already knew through courier company.

Yes, you can log into ECAS with your info. All of your paperwork gets scanned and entered into their system. Since your medicals were done upfront, they will show up early. If the PA side changes to In Process on ECAS, then the sponsor has more than likely been approved.

So happy just got my approval letter and being sent to the Manila Visa Office. I guess this is the SA

Thanks so much! I've tried accessing ECAS using my UCI but I'm still unable to access it. I'll give it a few days then hopefully I'd be able to access it.
