Is it normal that sponsorship application AND permanent residence application are being processed at the same time? Here's what appeared on ECAS:

We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 7, 2016.
We started processing your application on September 6, 2016.
STATUS : IN PROCESS

Permanent Residence
We received XXXXX's application for permanent residence on August 17, 2016.
We started processing XXXXX's application on September 6, 2016.
Medical results have been received.
STATUS: IN PROCESS

I just checked my ECAS today and it finally says DECISION MADE on the sponsorship application. Does this mean I'll have my SA soon?
