I never got an AOR neither I've been able to link my application to an account.

Great news, however, I received an email on Sep 8 saying I met sponsor requirements (SA I guess) and application (received on Aug 11) has been forwarded to a visa office. :-*

So with application # and UCI I can check ECA but still unable to link to my/principal applicant accounts.

Hey everyone. I'm not sure if I'm an August or September applicant... Our application was sent by our lawyer on August 19th. Is that counted as the date filed? Or is there a notification that comes in saying that it has been filed? We're using a lawyer so I'm not sure how much information I'll be receiving from her to follow our app. Thanks!

However, when I linked my paper application to myCIC last week, I've noticed it says in there the date submitted is Sept 7 (the same day I linked the application to online). So now I'm not really sure which date to follow. Hoping for your insights on this one guys. Thanks!

It shows the date you linked the application. Just go with the date from ECAS as to when they received and started processing.

same here. i keep trying to link application and ECAS but no luck.
application received Aug. 31. or just too early to expect anything from CIC. just want to know progress in our application.

My app was delivered to CIC on Aug 12. Still do not have AOR1. I was able to link my app in MyCIC on Sept 3 and my app was given a XFxxxxx file number which I understand was a temporary number. I checked today, the file number was changed to Fxxxxx and the medical has been changed to PASS. I think CIC is starting to work on my app.

I come to the believe that how fast one get AOR1 or SA depends on the which officer is assigned to one's file. Some officer works faster and some slower.

First of all congratulations in advance. Soon you will get Aor 1 email. It's good to know that this Xoooxxx file number on my CIC in early stage is temporary one and it changes to permanent one later

When you get your AOR1 they will let you know when they received the application and this won't be the date you linked your application in MyCIC.

Good thing I'm not the only one who wasn't given an AOR yet :

I got an email this morning telling me that the status of my application has been updated. I checked my CIC account and saw that the Review of Eligibility was changed to "Review in Progress".

I don't think you will receive an AOR anymore.. since, they've started evaluating your application, you're good to go

Is there any early August applicant who got AOR from NDVO.? Just wondering on there progress.
